I think where some of the people go wrong is we're not using a lot of pics for Capital which is great we're only going to use three or four play of these pics we're already stacked only one or two may start the rest is for depth
I dont mind double dipping because now you have flexibility with the veterans. Davis and Robertson will be 2 year rentals at the most unless they absolutely ball out. All that being said I wish they would've grabbed Penei's cousin in the 2nd. Im sure the team trusts in 74 after last year, but man o line depth is so crucial.
The Super Bowl window isn’t just now!! BH is building this team to be relevant for a while. He will resign core players and draft players to replace the not so relevant players. Get used to being good for a while
It was an overpay. There is no way around that. But you took a top 10 pick. He is and has been the number one corner in this draft. I don't have a problem with the trade especially with where our team is now. We have the potential to have a top 5-10 secondary and that is something we haven't had in a looonnnggg time. We still have our second round pick as well!
Long term, I'd rather have one of the remaining DBs and a 3rd. This year and next year though - I'd much rather have Arnold. 100% no doubt worth the trade up. For what its worth, I have him comped to Devon Witherspoon, and we would've all been happy to see him at 6 last year.
If I was Brad Holmes, & since he don't listen to your podcasts or any other podcasters & their opinion & the players he's choosing at the right time are starting to show that these players are STUD players to this team & what he's molding into. But if I had my way, I'd cut all the podcasts off & take away the distractions your implying to the public. Everyone has an opinion & entitled to it, but how bout it on the street or with your friends n such but your opinion being spread through your podcasts are just creating drama. We need to go back to the good ol days where we could anticipate more without people saying oh we need to do this or we need this guy to put us to the next level. One day I'd be glad to say bye bye to all you podcasters
What is Neal talking about SEC QBs? They generally aren't very good. Devon Witherspoon was the best rookie DB last year and he came from the Big 10. Sauce Gardner was the best rookie corner the year before and he was in Conference USA.
@ArifHasanNFL : the best STEAL of the draft.... value of a 12 th pick. The physical DOG, a FOOTBALL guy who played against the best competition all year long and guarded receivers taken ahead of him and intercepted QBs taken in this draft!! A Campbell guy, a true Lion!! Flannel is purposely on the opposite side, as always! I think that is his job!! Q Mitchell played sissy-vers ( not receivers)!! Go Lions....the most complete, physical, smart, gritty team in NFL.... Superbowl this year!!
Giving up a 3rd to get the best CB in the draft, is not getting cooked. He would have been taken in the top 15 picks in most drafts. The number of QBs and other offensive players who were taken early, led to him dropping to a spot we could afford to move up and grab him.
@@zacharyboswell9221 This is such deja bu with you idiots, I literally said this against Okudah so many years ago, and was getting the you don’t know ball responses. I’m KP just wondering if we can get a 5th rdr in 3 years for him? 🤔
What made it fun was watching Tom Grossi being upset that the Lions moved ahead of GB.
He had branch flashbacks
@@jackganzel lol 😂 yes. It seems like Brad Holmes just love’s giving it to GB. And Tom makes it awesome.
Tom Grossi is awesome tho. That dude keeps me laughing.
@@thebangthegame yes he puts it so it’s funny and light hearted.
They're the reason they moved up there. Gotta love snagging a guy your division rival wanted 1 selection b4 them.
Dope when you get best available and team need💪🏾
Thing is with Brad Holmes. He goes after his guy. Arnold was the best Cb in the draft. He played very talented players.
The NFC north and NFL in general now features a good to great WR on most every team. You better get ahead of the curve in your secondary
I think we had to pay the third round draft pick because we didn’t have a fourth. I think if we had a fourth rounder that would’ve got it done.
The value chart didn't account for 6 qbs taken in top 12. That 24 pick was more like 17 or 18.
I thought there was no chance we get Arnold. I thought Kool Aid was most likely top CB we could get. I wanted Kool Aid because I liked his name. LOL.
Hard to take Sam Flannel seriously with that middle school haircut.
He is a BIG fall out boy fan
He needs to go to ladyjanes
Man i hate that every body forgets melifonwu
They act like he doesn’t exist , I’ve been saying he is the underrated dog of that secondary and he’s breaking through

Mitchell played in the MAC. Arnold cut his teeth against Malik Nabors, Brock Bowers, & Jayden Daniels. The tape is the tape.
Stop glazing the SEC. The Big Ten is not any different from the SEC in terms of what a defender would face from QBs
That’s completely not true.

To see his brilliance with the extensions this week, too. Dude is undoubtedly the best GM we've ever had. What a hire by Sheila and crew

Arnold? I think that he's going to contribute right away and be an elite CB by the end of the regular season.
Aint nothing wrong with Sam Flannel. Dudes doing his thing GO LIONS
Dudes one of the most obnoxious sports talking heads I've ever seen. He's obnoxious
Didn't Neal Ruhl state that there wasn't A CB1 in this draft. And if we drafted one it would basically be punting on the pick?

I would rather get a SEC CB than a MAC CB.. on top on that he was 1 team all American in the SEC as a CB
Is this our 4 point difference to get to the Super Bowl?
Mr. Negative here. Sheesh

Did not overpay when you look at it like trading a 29 and 73 for a top 10 player in the draft
Love all these armchair GMs sitting in their mommas basement in the same sweat pants for a week complaining we overpaid. Its hilarious
At least we aren't the Falcons. 😊
I will say if he sits like jodan love and actually pans out then it wont be but damn kirk is getting 90 mil guaranteed lol for at least 3 yrs!!!!
This is why Brodie the goat
When we get above green bay to do this it no overpay lol.
Nope cause they were definitely jumping on him at 25. They need corners too
Sam needs a shave and a haircut BADDDDD!!!
ONE PRIDE
I wish the lions would gave up next year 3 round pick

OL at 29.
Sam flannel lookin rough
Great player and seems like a great man but we got cooked on that trade…
You’re an absolute moron and I hate that I’m dignifying your stupid comment with a response but you don’t know much football
worth it, we don't have a starting CB otherwise
We got exactly who we wanted !!😮

He's a top 5 defensive player in this draft. There is no overpaying 4 that
The Dallas clownboys
This guy is a damn turtle, 4.5 speed, good look covering Tyreke Hill, Worthy with 4.28 speed. Dumb pick!
He plays faster than that. The 40 time is track speed. He is technically sound and fluid.

There's running a 40 at the combine and there's football speed. 2 totally different thing. ASB ran a 4.5 40 and he cooks corners. Relax Debbie downer
@@codynevers51right that's straight line speed with nobody obstructing you or making you cut or turn. Big difference
