I'm a simple man, I see Joe and Colin, I click. Always inspiring, entertaining and beautiful images. Thanks Sigma for creating this series, both have been brilliant so far - more enjoyable than anything on telly (though I agree with someone else's comment, definite Mortimer and Whitehouse vibes) - more please!
This is the photographic equivalent of Gone Fishing with Mortimer & Whitehouse! Two giants in the field who we all hold with such huge affection, reminding us all why we love this hobby so much! It's like a warm hug.
just watched all three episodes. fantastic, absolute pleasure watching these two amazing gentleman again photographing beautiful locations in the Uk. I hope we see many more episodes and adventures from two amazing photographers 👍
What a superb trio of episodes with the Dynamic duo and thank you Sigma for producing them. Joe on the beach, F16, no focus stacking, dropping away in the distance to give it depth, a master at work. Colin at the end, comical as ever. Cheers guys and I hope you got a bevvie or two in.
I have lived through film to digital and seeing these masters now embracing the new with old world values and aesthetic its truly inspiring. Thank you gentleman and thanks Sigma for this.
As soon as we were given a view of the 1st location my bets were for Joe smashing it out of the park - you could tell before the images were shown he had a couple of bangers in there. I could listen to Joe articulate about photography all day long... his knowledge & understanding of his trade pours from him and I think the word I would use would be exuberant. Those last couple of images were so good. I think also a mention of prtaise for the filming crew who put this together... great work all. atb Alan
Thank you Sigma for the series, absolutely brilliant. Thank you Joe and Colin for the enjoyment of both of you being out together showing us some fantastic places. Great image's from both of you, but we wouldn't expect anything less. Can we have another series somewhere.
Another lovely photographic adventure. To be able to share trips with these masters of the medium is such a wonderful gift. Thank you Sigma for these excellent videos (and for making such wonderful lenses!)
Well done Sigma on putting in the time and money producing such a great series... again! Really quality viewing which reflects the quality of the lenses you make. Heres hoping Joe and Colin, and Sigma, will do more series in the future. A little surprised they weren't shooting with Lumix or Leica cameras, since Sigma collaborates with those partners... Also, top marks to the video crew for such excellent filming, some really beautiful shots and editing 👍🙏
Brilliant series. I now want to visit Orkney! Wonderful to see these two legends of landscape photography out enjoying their craft and using the full range of Sigma lenses (but sadly not cameras - see my comment from Ep1 ;) ) to their maximum extent. Please can we have some more @SigmaUK? Btw, loved the outtake at the end :)
Brilliant set of episodes, best thing I've seen in photography for a long time. I think I've selected my next holiday/photo destination. Love those wild seas. Please put that book together for us Joe and Colin. I was once inspired by a photography trip to Knoydart, where someone taught me to 'look into the landscape', I've never forgotten that, it changed the way I see nature and my compositions. Thanks Colin and Joe, and just to please the sponsor, I do love my Sigma art lenses!
Thank you for all three wonderful episodes. Some wonderful photos and banter. I think perhaps the cinematographer stole the show. Some lovely video. Thank you.
❤ Love the photography knowledge the both are giving !!! I shoot MFT and i wish Sigma could do maybe do two ✌ new lenses for micro four thirds like a equivalent to a 20mm 2,8 and a 10-40mm f2?? Probably not possible 😅 either way thanks John and Colin and of course Sigma!!
These guys inspire and Joe just creates those wonderful intimate compositions. Then that ending

Orkney and two of the UK's best landscape photographers, what more could we ask for!

Enjoyed all the three episodes, thank you for making this, hopefully more such episodes.
Love these two together. Am insipired to take my 24mm DG DN C out for a spin now seeing how Joe rocks the primes.
Listening to Colin trying to convince Joe that a sponsored trip back to the Orkneys would make for a great project is pure Gold !
I enjoyed and learned from this , how their thought process works was insightful.
Smashing! Superb locations and what a dream to be able to choose 3 lenses to use from a selection like that for a weekend!
