I sanded the top of my mom’s 1945 sewing cabinet ( it contained embroidery thread on rolls) , restained the top and painted the rest with off white chalk paint. Now it’s a pretty bedside table.
These were ALL fantastic!!! The jewelry box came out beautiful. It's time for everyone to think of those unique gifts and what is better on your budget than free trash to treasures!! I am amazed at what people just throw away! That planter was beautiful too!!TFS.😊 😉 👍 💖 🌱💍🎨

I have thrifted all my draw cupboard jewellery boxes I collect them have a lot I love ur jewellery boxes but I use mine for nail polish or little bits and pieces I don't paint mine I love my boxes as is but good job on urs I love the spice rack box I love the mesh on the doors its so cool and different
I can totally relate with a wood stain not coming off. I had to strip the top of a dining table 3 times then go through tons of sand paper the other day. It was insane!
That night stand though , beautiful , I bring stuff like that home and my husband just can’t see “ The Vision “ till it’s transformed . Always on a rescue mission 🥰 Great job as always , now I will be looking for that spice rack in need of some love 💕

I definitely recommend paint stripper to remove previous paint on furniture and then sanding it. It’s a lot faster and gets the job done ✅
