    This is a perfect example of restoration by preserving as much of the original car as possible. So many times you see a car like this over restored and having its evidence of history and provenance wiped away by over restoration. This was well done.

    What a brilliant engineering construction. FIAT builds excellent cars.

    Thanks for a great restoration. When I first saw it I thought that car should be kept original and just tidied up, and that is exactly what you did. Well done!

    geweldig om de auto in originele oude staat te houden en hem gewoon rijdend te maken en hem niet te over restaureren.

    I don't see how you can call this a restoration, it seems more like a stabilization. Good work none the less.

      Respectfully : You are wrong Sir, that is a restoration. Maybe you were expecting a refurbishing or a rebuilding.

      @@joseluisrodriguez5302 restoration is bringing a thing back to original (factory) condition...this is just repairing or preserving...definetely NOT a restoration

      Julien MCN I have an Alfa 146 from 96, the boxer engine is fantastic. The body and plastics Fiat and the quality is pretty poor.I completely agree depends on the individual car.

Bj voorbaat dank. Gerhard

    Please correct me but I don't think many manufacturers of machines at this time new how to make metals that did not crack, bend or wear so well. Raleigh bikes in UK new as well as a number of others, Cadillac and Ford also had the knowledge.
    I make the comment because I have started using my 1946 sports bike again it is similar low mileage 20-40,000 miles. I wanted to compare observations.

    no rust. say this for "modern" cars!

  • @waltertaljaard1488
    @waltertaljaard1488 5 лет назад

    Maar 7 jaar jonger dan de Spyker, maar een heel andere en veel modernere auto.
    Die Russen hebben hem ook goed bewaard. Wist trouwens niet dat Fiat vroeger zulke robuuste topklasse auto's maakte. Lijkt wel een Issotta Fraschetti, of een Hispona Suiza.

    16:41 ERROR,, he should place the inner air tube inside the rim before he start prying it against the tire, that is the easiest way to poke the the tube.
    That is in WALES UK ?? it seems,,,,,, P.S: annoying music, next time let us ear the sweet sound of the tools............ Beautiful restoration & car.

    • @MrHBSoftware
      @MrHBSoftware 5 лет назад

      dude you have some nonsense comments on this video...that is not the inner tube you see in the video...that is the tire bead wich is very large on those tires and they applied grease to it so it looks like the inner tube but its not....if it was the tube it would be punctured for sure
