Strangely this album I always come back to when I need motivation. I did some simple push ups for the first time in months today. I have dealt with a back injury for over a year that's debilitated me from compound lifts.
But today I did some push ups and got my gym membership again. Bought a fresh set of the supplements I normally took. I need these gains back. Even wrote down what credits I need for my associates. It's comeback season💪.
He definitely has a lot of motivational talk on this album bro. Dope to see the music is pushing you forward dispite some things that may be wrong in your life. Im a big advocate for being in the gym, when I caught COVID it fucked up my mental because I fr almost died but eventually got back in the gym full force. Im also on my last class for my Associates shits crazy, that's why sometimes I miss uploading anything. Keep grinding bro, you just provided me with motivation too 💪🏽

@@Trilltev nah i thought it was solid it just found it kinda underwhelming. i think production was a part, also they just didn't seem focused with it
like there are so many solo albums i prefer from both artists over it, even the ones coming out last year
@@jamaicandondada9024 I got that from a lot of people honesty. And of course everybody isn't going to feel the same. Kinda how I felt about Razor's Edge or FGIAAG 2. But both of those albums really grew on me.
Ngl they both had some crazy heat last year though. Like I said, I need a Willie The Kid and Ransom collab . Fully produced by V Don 🔥.

Ransom’s put on a clinic with the rapping. Ion think anyone really punching back to back like he is. My only real critique with this joint is I feel like Craven brought his A-game but the rest of the producers were sounding JV af (with a couple exceptions lol). If he ends up dropping again, I hope he goes the 1 producer route.
🤣🤣🤣 yo I cant help it at this point. I honestly feel you, I knew the production wasn't about to be for everyone. But just like you said the Craven joints didnt miss a beat. I think if Craven wasnt on it at all it would have shined more , you could easily tell the difference as soon as he came on. I personally think its fine , but I knew it wouldnt hold up with everyone. I will say though the production made it seem like he leveled up in a way. I dont want to say more mature... idk maybe because he really carried these tracks with ease, the production made his rapping ability seem even better? Wish he did have at least 1 or 2 hard hitting songs to bring the energy of the album up.

Loved the bars. Production is a little light though. Sounds a bit too mainstream. On 70% of these instrumentals i get strong mid to late 2000's vibes from. Wished this thing sounded more like Heavy Is The Head or Coup De Grace or even se7en but i still fucks with the album nonetheless solely for Ran's lyricism.
My guy! Yea man I knew everyone wasn't going to feel these instramentals. But some even said the same for Heavy Is The Head , I feel like these minimal beats make Ransom shine even more with his lyrics. Even still though I get what you mean. What you think about the features?
The product is great. It’s polished but there’s nothing like it playing in commercial spaces.

We cant even bring up Kendrick until the album actually drops May 13th. My guy hasn't dropped since 2017 so he cant even be talked about until he actually drops some new music IMO.
Not to mention the styles of rap are way different. I'd still give the slight edge to Ransom as an overall lyricist. His wordplay and punchlines are definitely better then Kendricks , and thats coming from a Kendrick stan. Kendrick has a huge edge on story telling and concept albums , but the question was who's the best lyricist out right now. And Kendrick been a ghost for 5 years.

Reviews always on point. I’m with you, Ransom is on an island by himself lyrically. Not sure if any other artist that drops as many constant jewels. I’m sure Kendrick will give us a much more wider spectrum of sounds but when we speak on lyrics strictly not close. Salute my brother👊🏿

Sonically I did not think this is better than the directors cut series. But lyrically, he was definitely coming correct as always, as he does not dissapoint at all.

Ransom does use the same lines sometines just that he normally finds different ways to say em and that's quite supreme to me
