I bet 90% of us are jealous as hell of Steve for figuring out how to make a living doing what he does, but a whole hell of a lot less could come up with that line. I know I couldn't. Poetry, indeed.
I could be wrong but I think he shoits it and it charges them I'm not 100% sure tho, just heard something recently about rinella having another run in with a bore
Ahhhh the meat eater crew got us once again , on the edge on our seats for a few days till part 2 😂 Awesome job Steve and thanks for the your service Rorke
The Navy seal speaking to the relief of not carrying the burden of decision making, while so accustomed to his own resulting in life or death for his men, even with regards to a lower risk (unless that grizzly gets an attitude) really says a lot about the man’s character and recognizing ownership. That’s how a man pays a true dear compliment to another man whom he views his equal
You and your crew are living legends for putting this stuff out free to air. You've inspired me to take, process and consume my own dear in Australia. Love your work keep it up, you're a true man.
best episode so far, i agree. what a nice guy this ex-operator dude is. for a seal to ask a guy like steve something like "so how are we gonna do the glassing?". always open minded, always learning, super humbe. as if he has not spent years glassing for the worst of all predators:)
Never been more addicted to a show, the hunt, the lessons, the landscapes, the game. Steve brings the good every ep, pure class 👌 Coming to you all the way from Australia
Learning to hunt in my late 30's was the only way I could find to quench my continued need to chase quarry. I was immediately hooked, and have been healing through hunting ever since. Much respect to both of these gentlemen, and would love to even grace their presence around a campfire for an evening! Rorke...not sure about you, but where I am from there would have been an informal fine paid at the range for that ;-) This has been my favourite MeatEater episode yet, so thank you gents!
That landscape/back drop is utterly gorgeous. Love this episode, would be awesome to have him back on the show for another/different hunt for season 10!
Firstly and most importantly, thank you, Sir, for everything you've done for our country. Secondly, Acts of Valor is one of my all time favorite movies. Lock it down.
After seeing the mosquitos gotta say Alaska is off my top 5 places I want to hunt list. I don’t have a problem with the cold or the hiking but no mosquitos
You guys just made my life, put you guys on Netflix on repeat cause you always catch something new between each episode. Im so happy to see you guys on RUclips
Steve seems to be one of the most genuine person you could ever meet. This man has hunted about every animal in North America plus some yet he will sit down with another hunter and take in as much knowledge as he can. He don’t act like he knows it all. He listens and I love seeing that. That is rare among people now days. His hunts are never scripted. He packs a back pack and just goes out to spot and stock. He braves the elements and does some of the hardest hunts I have ever seen. Especially the hunts for mountain goat. This is a man that I would love to sit down and talk to. The stories he can tell I bet are endless and full of excitement. Steve is about one of the only people that I can actually watch hunt.
I've watched nearly all of your RUclips and NetFlix videos. This two-part video is pretty special. Your honoring of Rorke's service and him having the bear hunting experience was perfect. I wish I'd have started hunting earlier in my life. I've missed a lot of those opportunities. While I've spent over 38 years in the Forest Service spending time in the woods and Wilderness, I've not had the rich part of doing the same thing hunting deer and elk in the same environment. Now, as I'm in my mid-60s, and an early stage of Cancer, I feel it passing me by. I have very few friends that hunt, so last year I went out on my own. It was a special time. This year I'll likely do the same. I treat hunting as a cheap gym membership, to avoid the disappointment of no meat in my freezer. I really enjoy your videos!
I'm from Brazil. My dream is to live like this, like you. My dream is to hunt with Steven Rinella. Strong hug from Brazil. My name is Hiago Morais. I don't miss a video. Both on youtube and netflix
Keep working for it Hiago and your dream will become reality. Don’t worry about the people that get enjoyment from putting down others, it’s easy to see that they are just filled with sadness and or hate.
@@dowhatyouloveortheywin9791 thank you very much for the comment. I will take it as a life lesson! Oh man that trigger jerk at the last second of the video was drastic, safety will get ya every time! Something I have to constantly remind myself about. Cant wait for part 2.
The editing is always great, but some pieces sections just go beyond. There's a section with the perfect music starting 14:04, just after the happy black bear rolling around. What an awesome experience. Steve is a young hunting legend. I've been hunting since I was 6 years old & I turned 35 this year. I feel like I learn to be a better hunter from Steve. His takes & his views of the animals they pursue, are one of a kind. Hunters could use more MeatEater & less Buck Commander
Yooo what the fuck!!😭😭the “ to be continued” at the end had my wife an I yelling “noooooooo!!! Whyyy??!!” 😂 the hype is on another level over here. We love to watch all of the videos y’all post an learn as much as we can. Thank you and keep up the great work!
That young bear reminds me of a time in Colo. where I was hiking and hunting Marmots. My friend and I were on a ridge about 500-600 feet above he valley floor. Closest to the ridge was a trail with people hiking by. There was a clearing a little farther out with a tree stand about 50-60 feet wide separating the 2. In the clearing was one of the biggest Black Bears I've ever seen. It was chasing a butterfly and romping and rolling live the bear in this video. FYI, Rorke Denver's book on his journey is very inspiring.
Maybe it is the intellectual introspection ? I don't need to eat meat to survive in this day and age, but I respect the drive and challenge. That bear frolicking about has obviously abandoned social media and is living its best life.
