I have this exact tool I was about to replace as I couldn’t figure out how to reassemble. This was extremely helpful. Thank you! And thank you for adding the last section, the most critical imo.
Thank you, sir! I have this same rivet gun and had a stuck rivet. I was figuring out how to get the 3 "grabbers" correctly back into the cone piece. Your video had me back up and running in a matter of minutes. Thanks again!!
Great demonstration. I couldn't figure out that the 3 grippers had to go through the hole before screwing the black cup on. I never even thought to use a magnet. I was about to throw it out before watching this. Thanks for saving me $30 bucks and making the video.
Thanks for the reminder. It took me ages the first time to figure out the two black pieces of the shaft separated. This time I just looked up your video.
perfect video. took mine apart, spring went flying and 30 minutes later I was still trying to get the order to reassemble, then I found you. all better now. two thumbs up.
GREAT tutorial!! I was only looking for a parts manual when I came across your video. I also had the stuck 1/4" rivet. I thought I had lost one of the grippers when taking mine apart, but you showed there only were 3 and that was what I had. All is back together again. Thanks for taking the time to post the video.
not2fast4u2c I was using the 1/4 inch rivet size on the 1/4 inch rivets and for some reason the rivets just kept getting stuck. Any idea why? When I would look inside the tool, the 3 prongs weren't opening up wide enough to allow the end to go all the way down. Is it my tool?
I really don't know ...The rivet should slide all the way in and not be tight...When using any rivets I will squeeze the handles 1/2 way then open them up again and push the tool back tight again to the rivet to take a second bite
not2fast4u2c When I first insert the rivet, it wont go beyond the teeth unless I force the rivet inside. I believe it may be my tool. I'm going to head on over to see if Harbor Freight has a tool that won't do that.
Thank you, I used this video to reassemble after removing a stuck rivet stem from a steel rivet It was really jammed in there, the insides unscrewed just taking the tip nozzle out
some of the areas I will be using the 1/4 rivet gun don't have enough clearance for the handle. Have you pr someone used the Hydraulic one from HF? how was it? btw- great video. Thank you for sharing.
I have never used a power one....I do like this one ...It is easier on the hands and does 1/4 in. rivets I fixed 2 old snow shovels and it worked great
The tool cost was $20 but I used a 20% coupon ...The rivets are $ 7 for a box of 100 ..I am thinking of a no weld project ...This tool is so much easier to use than the small ones which hurt my hands
I am 65 years old I have never had a rivet gun I really like your video finally went to Harbor Freight and got one just like that👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is a Great tool for 1/4 inch rivets I restored my little red wagon and used rivets instead of bolts

Thanks! I decided to work without the plastic receptacle in the future to make sure, I won't end up with FIVE rivets stuck again.
Glad I could help
Thanks, I just needed to figure out the 3 small pieces. They fell out and I couldn't get em back in
Very clear demonstration. I just took out the stuck rivet and it was very easy because of the very well done tutorial.
Thanks for Watching ..I used mine a few days ago to put rivets in my new stove pipe

Just bought it and the rivet got stuck on the first go. Very informative.
I stuck a rivet because I picked the wrong size piece ...It is a great tool for using the big 1/4 rivets
not2fast4u2c I was using the 1/4 inch rivet size on the 1/4 inch rivets and for some reason the rivets just kept getting stuck. Any idea why? When I would look inside the tool, the 3 prongs weren't opening up wide enough to allow the end to go all the way down. Is it my tool?

Had this happen to me last night. Basically fixed it just like you did.
Great rivet gun, especially for the price!
I really like this tool because I can use 1/4 inch Dia.rivets ..The 2 snow shovels I repaired Are as good as a new
This video helped me thank you sir
Glad I could help thanks for watching
How about putting it together???
I like that rivet gun cause of the bottle that collects the rivet end.
I like it to it keeps the pieces from falling out on the floor
That is a nice big rivit tool.
Thanks !!! It works well with the 1/4 inch rivets
helped alot thanks

Good stuff Bud!!☺
Thanks ....I like this tool I have repaired 2 snow shovels with it
Thanks 👍🏾
Wow 1/4 inch. Hmmm...what's it cost and rivets? How many rivets per box. I have 25 year old project in mind I may do someday if health allows it.
The tool cost was $20 but I used a 20% coupon ...The rivets are $ 7 for a box of 100 ..I am thinking of a no weld project ...This tool is so much easier to use than the small ones which hurt my hands
Very first rivet got stuck, took it apart and the spring-loaded jaws flew apart, parts diagram worthless to re-assemble.
Hope my video helped
@@not2fast4u2c Yep, got it back together and working!
