Yo Spragels! I've been playing with Marowak the most of all Ex since start, I have ended up with a similiar deck as you showcase here but also using Aerodactyle Ex. I always love playing underdog/underapriciated types/decks cuz people to easely become meta-slaves and never see it coming. You would get my deck if you switch out 1 geovanni, 1 potion, and 1 less each of Hitmonlee and Marshadow for 2 Old Amber and 2 Aero Ex. Reason for this is Lee and Marsh are supports and we dont wanna be stuck with 4 of them on the bench, it's better the poke ball has a bigger chance to fish up a Cubone or one of the 2 if we got one on starter hand. Reason for 1 Geovanni and Potion is cuz these cards should be in your hand untill you need them. Sometimes you dont use them at all but when they are most valuble is when opponent has energy on 1 Ex poke and instead of 2 attacks to finish you off it takes 3 with the poition heal buying you an extra turn. And Geovanni to fininsh of that last 10 scoring us 1 point. Sofar I got around 90% winrate with it, some great strenghts is the fact that less of the supporters mons means bigger chance to get early Marowak, if you get early Aero you can block evo's hitting the field as they try to tank marowak/not get poked by lee/dont wanna take the hit from revenge Marshadow. Old Ambers can also be used to pivot in/save your mons and get a 100 boost for Marshadow in critical situations. All of them cost maximum of 2 energy to get online and start doing thier thing. All of them have 1 retreat cost to both have good benefit of X speed but also easy to pay later in the game if all your mons have all energy it needs for its attacks and you switch around for greater matchup. You have 3 kinds of weaknesses (Grass, Psychic, Electric) witch means no type can really pin you down or benefit from hitting you with low mons early as you build up your bench. And already Round 2 if you evolve and get Marowak or Aerodactyle and they start swinging, your offensive momentum becomes very hard for your opponent to deal with. Only time a loss is inevitable is when opponent gets a misty and 4+ energy on thier magicarp and lee absent. next turn they evolve and start sweeping round 2. But normally you kick that fish back to the ocean before it can do anything. Hope you guys like it!
Hey dude try this out 1x Psyduck 2x froakie fragadier and greninja 1x clobbopus and grappleoct 1x marshadow 2x research 2x pokeball 1x potion 1x mistey 1x Giovanni 1x leaf It works sometimes but when it does it's really fun You start with Psyduck and they can't use supporters Then build up grappleoct and marshadow in the back Get a greninja lineup And the grappleoct's attack does 70 damage and forces the pokemon to retreat Using gio and greninja we attack for 100 once And when grappleoct goes down use marshadow to get the final kill It's really fun when it works But it's quite inconsistent
I think my favorite EX is probably Marowak. There is just something so fun about it. When you play Marowak EX, you live by the flip and die by the flip. It's a great time
If your opponent in the last battle had their second Salazzle in hand, they could've KOd your Marshadow through poisoning to deny you the revenge DMG boost on your other Marshadow. You probably still would've won, but that would've been their best bet I think
I used pretty much this exact deck minus Marowak to do all the solo challenges that require 1, 2, and 3 diamond rarity cards. I used Hitmonlee, Marshadow, and Primeape (the one with Fight Back). As long as you can keep the active Pokemon at 100 HP or less, sometimes the AI will just flat out not attack you if Marshadow is powered up on the bench. It also sometimes refuses to attack Primeape unless it can one shot. So a pretty nifty deck for cheesing wins against the AI lol.
I've been using this deck with a slight variation. I suggest using a Primape line with one new and one old version Primape for more earlier aggresion. This is also a huge help so that you don't rely too much with Marowak Coin Flips
My version of this deck that I've been using for the last few days just trades the 2x Hitmonlee, 1 potion, and 1 Sabrina for 2x of the Primeape line (the new one). Crazy early game aggression, and makes good use of Marshadow since Ape is basically just sacrificial fodder after early game 😂
In my opinion the best decks are ones that don’t have any stage 2 Pokémon as getting them is really inconsistent, the only exception is Mewtwo EX which has access to lots of card draw Mythical Slab, Sigilyph that other stage 2 cards don’t have, most games with Mewtwo EX I get through my entire deck easily Arcanine EX and Gyarados EX are stage 1 versions of Charizard EX and Blastoise EX with only a little less attack which doesn’t matter too much since a lot of people are running lower health EX cards like Celebi EX and Pikachu EX
So... I did a similar deck but with 2 Aerodactyl ex and one less hitmonlee and marshadow (because I only had one). It let me draw mons more reliably and ambers were good for misty or marshadow.
Probably not the best place for deck suggestion but it is the funniest one if you have fun w hitmonlee (it also happens to be the first deck you go against on the vid i guess) : 1× greninja 1× frogadier 1× froakie 2 × clobbopus 2 × grapploct 2× hitmonlees 1× leaf 1 × speed 2 × sabrinas 1 × giovani 2 × researches 2 × pokeballs
The worst Pokémon EX probably has to be Lapras-EX. The 20hp recovery doesn't do enough to justify using it, it doesn't have a 2nd cheaper attack and 3 retreat, meaning it's completely outclassed by Articuno-EX. It could maybe be used in like an Island Vaporeon deck where you already run 2 Articuno-EX and want more strong hitting basics. But that's a niche at best
I'm running blue in my gyarados deck... If i'm facing fighting or lightning, i will make sure i have gyarados and blue in my hand... After i play magikarp, i play blue... I must ensure that my magikarp evolve into gyarados next turn... You are crazy if you play magikarp and you know your opponent have hitmonlee or zebstrika in their bench, knowing it has potential to kill magikarp... The only one i'm afraid of is lumineon...

Worst ex for me has gotta be zapdos ex. Every time I run pika ex deck he's just way too slow to use as an offensive threat in any meaningful way. He is good as a pivoting tank tho with the low retreat cost.

@@jamesearlray7343 Machamp ex isn't the best, but I at least think Gengar is worse than Machamp. Gengar ex does less damage and has slightly less health than Machamp in exchange for an ability that loses effectiveness if they already played their necessary Supporters.
@ gengar does 20 less damage but as for health, in a practical sense, it feels like machamp has less than gengar bc it can be one shot by mewtwo which is devastating for machamp. So call damage and health a wash. Then youre left w gengars ability, which i think ur severely underrating. The opponent often times has supporters they want to play whether it be pivoting w leaf, healing w erika, misty, brock, blocks sabrina, etc. Add to the fact gengar has better support such as mythical slab. I think gengar is easily better. The only one i think that could be debated for machamp is wigglytuff.
Lapras EX is pretty useless. But I also think aero is pretty useless unless you know you're opponents deck. If they are running basics like Mewtwo or celebi. It is a useless ability.
I've bern running a Celebi variant with both Serperior and Lilligant. The winrate wasn't my concern, I just wanted to break my highest damage record. Unfortunately I keep playing against people who surrender as soon as the win is unlikely, yet the winrate is surprisingly high. Anyway, this deck likes to evolve to Lilligant while its in the active spot. Other decks that are affected include Ninetales and Rapidash, Starmie-EX, Zebstrika, Machamp-EX, Weezing and Scolipede and some more.
This deck is good, as long as you stay lucky. If you dip into the average luck even for a moment, you go down hard. I beat this deck with wigglytuff ex Weezing. If you hit only 1 head against either of those cards, even with weakness, they survive. The match ended up going to poison, as they won the sleep flip, but couldnt win the attack flips. Marshadow and Hitmonlee are great cards, but if your luck isnt pulling the weight it should be, youre losing a lot more than you win...
