People underestimate big gabi. Should be top tier both for defense and goals
I think Tierney has been underrated a bit... Even during his cameos he's scored and created goals, he's been defensively solid and there's honestly been very little to complain about.
If "below expectation" means "hasn't played as much as expected" then fair enough, but when he's played Tierney has been excellent
Agree and the way he is been asked to play has took away his biggest strength of overlapping
The logic seemed to change for certain players! Plus the interpretation of "expectation" differs. Personally Tomiyasu should have been higher, great right back and for most of the season was covering our left back and done a damn good job! Zinchenko should be lower, great player but my "expectation" was that he'll be in the team yet has only played 6 games 🤔

As good as Saliba has been I think Gabriel has been our best CB.
Big Gab has allowed Saliba to be as good as he has been. Absolute rock. Top tier ❤️
Martinelli needs to be in top tier based on the opening games of the season tbh, his form and goals got us wins when Saka was struggling with goals and assists initially
If Saka was out of form now compared to the start of the season and Martinelli was in form now and was out of form at the start of the season he would be considered top tier
Harsh on Tomiyasu, I think he has been sporadically brilliant.
Tierney should atleast be between decent and below expectation, as he has filled in when needed perfectly, been a very good backup who's pushing for a starting place, same as Tomiyasu.

GM has been the Top Tier especially when under the cosh. Also he plays nearly every game.

I do think Mo should be in decent though, as he always gives 110%, gives a solid performance every time, does what we expect of him when he's on the pitch, and gives everything when he's not on the pitch too.

You should judge based on consistency (and availability). Xhaka and White have been our most consistent players imo.

7.5 out of 10 think there was some inconsistencies in choosing. GM as in between with all others defenders is strange. Zinc played less games and probably made more mistakes defensively which Gabi covers and plays nearly every game. Think people don't rate him as high as Saliba because he not as smooth on the eye. But opinions are opinions
You didn’t expect Tomi to not get enough game time. And that’s “Below (Your) Expectation” rather than “Not Played Enough”? Hahaha.
🤯 Ok, Agree with top tier, but, Gabriel has to go Top tier also arguably been better than saliba so far, turner decent, Vieira has 2 goals 4 assists so decent not below expectations, this is his 1st season in the hardest league.
Also Gabriel is the leader in defence and more important than Saliba. He is trusted by Arteta more than Willo who also made mistakes led to goals, but somehow it gets unnoticed by the fans. Whereas every Gabriel mistake is highlighted.
Q- is it legit to compare a keeper with left winger… would a better comparison be v others in the league in that position..

It's a fair commentary. Ramsdale is great, but needs to add penalty saving to his box of tricks
KT is very good IMO but i also could put him in below expectation. I wanted him to be our captain the last few years.

Gabriel has been better than Saliba this season. We get it, Saliba is the shiny new toy and the fan favourite but you lot can't possibly be that biased not to see that Gabriel has been better? Maybe this is a fan favourite tier list
Xhaka has 3 goals and 5 assists this season and has won player of the month yet he's below Partey?
Tbh overall Gabriel M has been better than Saliba this season for me. Both fantastic but he's sometimes underrated for sure.
Tomiyasu has been key in two top games vs Liverpool and Man U. Showed a lot more than Turner for sure

I would put Gabriel above Saliba in my opinion. The rest i agree with ✔️
Odegard Saka and Partay top 3. Absolutely no question about it

He has been good. Note tomy started injured.. In games he has played he has been good.
Hello, nice tier list, I agree with a fellow comentator that you should not put players in-between lines. And also we this tier list doesn't feel like the right place to juge who is better than the other. There should maybe be an overall performance video to juge who has been doing better.

Didn't realize that it take so long to drive within London.
Tom said that he is going to leave at 5:30 to catch a 12:30 match. That's a 7 hours in between. I know that you want to reach early like 1 ½ to 2 hours early.
I live just south of london and have to be there 2 hours early for work

I think 5 hours drive in Jamaica, you could from Negril point to Morant point. That's from one end of the island to the next end

How can you not want to rate Partey in top tier for injuries after you just put zinchenko in top tier when he’s missed more games.

Gabriel has been better than Saliba overall. Zinchenko defensively has actually been poor but very good offensively. Fabio has been poor and should not be higher than Sambi. Fabio plays better with better players but still been poor. Sambi been better than Fabio but plays very safe.
Do you know our defensive record when Zinchenko starts?
Couldn’t be more wrong about Fabio IMO. Think you’ve forgotten a number of his games.
Tomi and Elneny way too low, Nketiah and Martinelli should swap places
Exposing weaknesses in the middle of the penalty box.. and poor Nketiah.. Saka and Martinelli always blocked by 2 players no way to enter..
Holding should be in the bin, he's out of his depth
