@@DeezgutzBoth your explanations are wrong. Partition triggers because the stack is leaving the battle area because the digimon is ceasing to exist. Overflow doesn’t trigger in the superior mode situation because the ace card hasn’t left the battle area, or the card is still underneath another card. The digimon is still leaving the battle area, but the ace card itself is still underneath a card.

Imperial player forgot to reduce cost of the digivolve which would have his dragon mode at memory 0 and suspend tamer to unsuspend for game.
Aren't the tamers still the battle area? so does partition proc when imperial is moved under a tamer?
