The Changan Shenlan SL03 was launched in China with three different powertrains. It is available as EV, EREV (range extender), and FCEV (hydrogen). Its cheapest version costs only 168,900 RMB (25,000 USD). But the most expensive Shenlan SL03 has a price tag of 699 900 RMB (103,665 USD).
Shenlan is a fresh brand that CATL, Changan New Energy, and Huawei jointly run. The Changan Shenlan SL03 is a compact sedan, based on the EPA1 platform. Its dimensions are 4820/1890/1480 mm, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. So the SL03 is 106 mm longer than the Tesla Model 3. As mentioned, it goes with three different powertrains (EV, EREV, FCEV). Anyway, all of them have an electric motor on the rear axle. So the SL03 is RWD only. Its power output is 160 kW (218 hp) or 190 kW (258 hp) depending on the version.
