    I had the same reaction when I first got d6. I have had fast dirt bikes as a kid but this was my 1st fast escooter. I was laughing out loud and people thinking i was a crazy guy. But I was having so much fun!! I still have mine and it's still like brand new after 1200 miles. Killer review by the way!

    Just got mine today and took it for a test run after filling the tires and learning how the buttons work. I got the hydraulic brake setup, so disabled the EBS. Sucks we are getting ready to get super cold here in the mid-west, so I won't be ridding it much if at all until it gets above freezing again. Love it, super huge compared to my $450 one.

    very cool, I am more of an electric bike rider but this looks compelling, i still have this irrational fear of being stranded though by a scooter since my ebikes even if the electronics mess up still works as a bike. Also kind of jealous of the battery size and range here. my Ebike is about the same weight and 50 miles (80km) of range (assuming i keep it in low pedal assist mixed 1 and 2 of 5) but top speed is 28MPH (45kph), 32mph (51.5kph) if i derestrict it, but then i only get 20 miles (32km) range in either of those modes. I don't understand why bike manufacturers will often not go this large on batteries, even $3-4k USD bikes rarely go over 14Ah and this is nearly double that.

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for your comment. I understand what you ment. That's why I have build my own E-bike many years back. Basically I buy new Mountain bike and 2000W Ebike conversion kit, then I made myself 52V 37Ah Lithium battery from a used laptop cells and install smart 60A silent sine wave controller. Making the batteri was not easy and it was time consuming process as I had to test over 500 old 18650 battery cells and chose the best ones. I have spot welded 224 cells in 14S configuration. I even added temp sensor for the battery and for BMS. Later I converted 60V power supply to 58.8V 10A charger :)
      You can see that bike here on this link. ruclips.net/video/_AGcHuGaruc/видео.html
      P.S. I still have my Ebike and drive it from time to time, but it's not even close how this D6+ Electric scooter is pulling! Acceleration on this thing is insane! :) I love it!

    • @mystupidvideos4347
      @mystupidvideos4347 3 года назад +2

      You're not the only one that thinks like that. I go for long rides on my e-bike, and always think that one day something will happen, and I will have to pedal my way back when I'm all tired out, but knowing that I can still pedal it. (I usually way exceed the distance of my e-bike, but just turn it on for the ride back to relax a little) I wouldn't want to have to push a scooter along for 20 miles if something went wrong, that would turn to a crap day real quick. But I do like the idea of having a huge battery, and just zipping around without having to pedal. The other thing that scares me, is the small tires. I can see going over the handlebars sooner or later. Cause going as fast as they go, you can creep up on something real quick that you don't see in time.

    I just got a d6+ and I have already replaced 3 inner tubes on the front and now with almost 1000 miles on it the rear tire also went flat. I filled up to 50 psi and I’m still having this problem. I just ordered two replacement tires and tubes and I hope I should never have this problem again with the new tires or else there’s gotta be some kind of defect on the wheel design or the tires that come with it. Any comments anyone that can gimme some insight please?

      2. Careful in traffic, people don't expect that you can accelerate fast very quickly.

    Quick question I heard the d4 3.0 wobble after catching speed over 28 does the d6 feels the same ?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  3 года назад +3

      Never had issues with wobble on my D6+. You can drive it full speed on the road until the battery dries out without problems or wobbling. It's going straight like arrow. I think thats more related to the tires. Maybe tires on that scooter are not installed correctly or it's not fitted on the rim as it should.
      If your scooter have that issue lift it from the ground, apply throttle on free air and check the tires are they wobble. If so let the air out from a tire, take a soap water, spray it over the place where tire and rim meet and blow air in the tire. You will hear "pop" sound. Fixed :)

    • @chad6243
      @chad6243 3 года назад +3

      I've been over 1200 miles on my D6+ so far and the only time it wobbles is when I purposely wobble it, but it can heavily depend on your weight, I'm fairly heavy so it doesn't wobble much with me but my friend is lighter and it wobbled when he tested it but it could also be with him not being very experienced with electric scooters. I've had 46mph on my D6+ on a straight and like I said I'm fairly heavy, it's a great scooter.
