These guys put it on another level of variety. Plini, Intervals and Animals as leaders are great but Arch Echo feels more uplifting and more complex. I absolutely adore this!!
You know that it's amazingly played when gives you that level of energy and you just want to play drums as quick as possible! Richie you are an amazing drummer and such inspiration
@@Richie.Martinez For real, I heard the song on Spotify and I loved the sound of the china/trash crash stack. Super happy I found this and know exactly which cymbals were used :D
Why did it take so long for you kids to figure out how to compose and perform the music i've been dreaming of all my life? Just kidding. But not really, this really is the music I've been waiting to hear since I was a kid. THANK YOU.
I am quite the fan of trashy sounding cymbals. Every now and then I'll throw an extremely contrasting bright cymbal into my set up, but the quick decay allows for space, especially with as many notes as are happening when we play live. That was a good question! Thank you for watching the video.
THAT is how music should be played! With passion, joy, and drive!

Such an underrated song. Truely a talented drummer. Go Richie!!

But really sounds amazing compositionwise as does the mix.
Thanks a million for that great comment, Sheldon. It goes extremely appreciated!

@Tj Cherry - It's funny you mention that! The guys in our band really love Devin Townsend. He's a fantastic musician.
Nah, he was referring to DisTurbed haha. Nice playthrough man! Can't wait for Album 2!
Is every cymbal (except the dry? ride) meant to sound super trashy? Yeah, great playing.

Richie Martinez - That certainly makes sense. Cool, and thanks for your reply. Be well!
