4 years have past by ....it feels as tho it was only yesterday ......This Anime was really good I have to say that......It displayed emotions of every single character .....The most I like abt Darling in the FranXX is when Zero Two Thought Hiro was just his darling and made him close but deep inside she still loved Hiro .....Finally when she realised that Hiro was the Love she had been searching for....all her struggles to meet her true darling and the emotions they shared 2gether...... Unfortunately in the end they died making a promise ......Which never came true....
It's true that all stories cannot have a happy ending.....this anime is still underrated for me ....Hoping for Season 2 though I've wasted 3 years waiting for it....I'm still not enough giving up on a masterpiece like this

Actually the ending does have them find each other under the tree. They meet when they were children and they meet again as children with their book. Thus a full circle in a story that begins anew.
Actually it did come true. They reincarnated into the young boy and girl who find each under the Sakura tree a thousand years later. Even more, as the little girl had no Horn's, that means her dream of being human came true. And a new story begins. They first met as a little boy holding his hand out to Zero Two and the series ends with him reaching out to her once again. A very profound, beautiful ending.

This anime showed me something that happy endings aren't always happy they could sad or make you regret something a happy ending can also be a sad one I cried when I finished the anime I couldn't help it cause hiro and zero two
never came back to earth to see their friends they see them now but their in heaven I want every one to have a happy ending but it still will be really sad cause not only are you leaving all your memories and friends behind you also are leaving behind the places wheee you met them and had memories with them sure if you go to heaven you could see them again and keep your memories but what if you don't after all no one knows but when the future unfolds and I die I would only have a couple of regrets that I couldn't live and make memories with my friends more and that I didn't make more friends and that I couldn't see their futures or my own families future sure I could watch them above but do they know that well that's all the time I have for know I will make another comment toms and thx to everyone who reads this

I would say that if there was a second season, this season being focused on Hiro and Zero Two at the end of the anime where they were reincarnated, showing a deeper romance, just like the mangas ones we currently have, showing them having a life that, in a way, they always wanted, where the two of them are living as normal human beings and at some point in the story they remember their "memories" from their past lives, and so they create a family and have children (something she comments in the first season that she doesn't could have), and thus living like normal humans and having a normal life.
