- The 2021 Pro ATV Motocross national championship is looking to be one of the most competitive and innovative seasons in a long time! Joel Hetrick and Jeffrey Rastrelli of Pheonix Racing announced their team would be making the inevitable manufacturer switch to Yamaha, and the majority of the ATVMX industry was quick to follow the 2-time pro-national champ.
We believe that this change going to enhance the pace and improve the reliability of the sport as a whole, and it may very well also create one of the biggest weapons we see in years to come, the combination of Joel Hetrick and the ever dominating YZF450R.
The 2021 Pro ATV Motocross season kicks off on March 9th inside the Daytona International Speedway for round one of the ten-round national championship season.

This is next level content! It really shows how dedicated these guys are. I think Joel and Jeffrey both have a fire under them that is going to burn up the series. I can’t wait to see them in action with a fresh breath in their lungs. 💪🏻
Thanks for watching man! I'm so excited for the season to start!
I'm so looking to start racing locally here in Arizona. Gett'em Joel! Went off in this video @ practice!!! 🤙🏾
I wish you luck, keep the sport alive.
Thank you so much man!
I like the in depth side of things , great job 👍
Glad you like it!
Joel switchin to Yamaha now no one gonna be able to stop him. He gonna gap everyone really bad. He gonna be untouchable
It's very possible - Excited to see him race this year!
Joel on the Yamaha is going to take quad racing to a whole higher level.
Agreed!
Same result as the year before.... hmmm
Ok
Joel and Jeffrey were held back on the Honda’s....I own a Honda 450R and I believe that those two are gonna make Weinen retire early because he’s not gonna be able to keep up with them now that they have a fuel injected motor. Think about it,both Joel and Jeffrey have been right there mixing it up with Chad...but Chad had the advantage of fuel injection and Joel and Jeffrey only had carbureted motors that can only do so much and the rest was up to them. Fast forward to 2021 and now both are on the YFZ450R, that is the boost they needed. Now they don’t have to finesse the motor and clutch to keep it at peak hp like they had to on the Honda, instead they can focus on lines and being able to hit everything on any part of the track. FYI, I’m not taking anything away from Chad,he’s an awesome champion, but there’s a couple more riders (Joel and Jeffrey) that can easily grab the championship not. Awesome video!!!!!👍🏻🇺🇸
I agree - I never realized how much more responsive Yamahas are over a good ole' TRX. It's definitely going to be an exciting year!
@@TMHmotorsports Definitely!! Joel was checking out in Daytona but thanks to rider #8 coming over on him on the jump,he got a major setback! He’ll be back though!👍🏻
Awesome dude it is so awesome video
Thanks man
Good job bro I am the one that bought your front shocks from ya dude. From the 250r group. Just found your channel I like the content bro
That’s my brother😂😂
Good luck Joel in 2021
Is Yamaha the only brand updating and selling new 450 sport quads?
I believe so
Without brown in the mix this year who will #28 have to battle with?I see some podiums in his future.
I’m sayin Bryce Ford. He’s gonna be more experienced this year prolly a little more confidant
Well this year you done it bud. Most overall wins 5x champion. You will have over 100 moto wins before you quit racing
Awesome video💯
Glad you enjoyed
And the cow?
at 5:43 his quad is on a stand why
Hustle 😁 😁 😁
Too bad Honda won't use this as motivation to fuel inject and update a new trx model.
I like when people stick to their favorite bikes and don't switch for money. Why not all the best riders just ride for the yfz team.
There is no financial gain for them to switch, Yamaha is frankly just a better machine as Honda had not innovated or supported the sport in any way.

I think this means that Honda needs to get their head out of their ass and make a new quad... and Suzuki...
I wish that was the case, but I’m grateful that we at least have Yamaha here to move us forward.
That young man is to young to be talking about going out.He his some championships in his future.
He is very young, but in my opinion I don't think it's ever too early to plan his legacy 😂
Body probably tired
🤣🤣🤣💯💪💪💪💯
Honda has no balls
Fourtrax 250r 1986 - 1989
Trx 450r 2004-2014.
Left at the altar.
Twice
Come on.
I heard Honda had a new 450 designed but they are just waiting for the market to return. Not sure when that will happen, SXS have taken over.
@@vintagetrikesandquads4012 SXS are oversized golf carts and undersized jeeps all at once
With that logic we will get another in 2029 😅
A lot of guys where I’m from are switching back to sport quads cause side by sides get boring hauling girlfriends get old and drinking beer it’s just a phase if the market would bring new machines it would tempt them into buying a 10k quad rather than 20k or 30k
Honda has became a joke in the ATVMX industry. 450R's are basically dinosaurs now.
I wouldn't say a joke, but definitely a dinosaur, lol
Honda really ? You just lost the best rider !!
Agreed
