The cuts… man oh man. 👊🏽 What is your b-roll cam? I do like the smooth focus and not the jumping when I hold a product in front.(in frame.. outta frame) I’m doing corp work and wow… didn’t expect it to be so good. Thx 🙏🏾 again for sharing. My Tascam x8 just arrived… mixed with the A7IV I think is great mix in the field.
Thanks for putting out this video. I am a hybrid shooter who needs to shoot video just as much as I need to shoot stills. I will definitely be picking this camera up soon.
Hello Tristan, your video is really nice, thanks to share it. I need to ask a question please. I only make documentaries in 4K always and ONLY freehand, without tripod or gimbal. Can you tell me if the Sony A7 IV + Sony 24-105 mm lens is the right camera for me? Thank you.
That setup can work but I don’t ever suggest shooting without stabilizing your camera even if it’s just a monopod. It’s really important to have stable footage. The camera and lens can only do so much.
All great points sir. I just moved from the R6 to the A7iv. While I still love the R6, I needed certain things like no record limits, 10 bit on all recording formats and S-cinetone for quick turnarounds. Only issue now is do I couple the A7iv with a A7siii or a second a7iv. I’m digging the energy and your images….keep up the great work!!!!
This is one of my favourite posts in a while. Bro you are touching on so many key point as to why I returned my two R6s because I just felt like they were not good enough for what I needed. The colour in video mode is insane on the Mark IV. Cheers
Hi thanks for the video. How well would this camera perform as a real estate video tool? I know the 4k is cropped but I'll go the Laowa 9mm route. My query is more towards dynamic range, low light and highlight roll-off. Thank you
Hey thanks for the question. In terms of real estate this is definitely a good option. DR is really good for both video and stills. It has all the features an A7SIII has minus the 120FPS and the really hardcore low light features. Outside of that the roll off is great because of the 10 Bit colour space and things like AF is incredibly good. So I would say grab one if you can find one. For this price you will be laughing once you start using it and making money from these agents. Cheers
So what do you think about these features? I love them BUT I also think that they are more video centric.
Subbed. Love the delivery and style!
Thanks for subbing
Love this, great video!
Thank you. Glad I could help.
Cheers for the video Tristan, I’m sold! Think it’s time to upgrade my a7 mk2 🤟🏾
Good choice!
digging your channel Tristan, keep up the good work! Waiting for them to put these electronics into the A7C body. :)
Thank you so much for your support. let's keep creating.
Great video! I agree that a lot of the upgrades were video centric. I don’t mind it though.
Good to know!

Glad you like them!

I love this camera and for me it covers all my needs.
Have you tried using the a74 with apsc lenses? The extra MP should help with the final output.
That's dope!

It’s so good and I missed it so much bro.

How is the size comparison between the R6 and A7IV?
@@LuisPerez-fy6up They are pretty much the same in size but I feel like the A7IV is a bit heavier.

Did you ever have eye AF problems with the A7IV ?
No not at all. The eye AF is super good.
