- This week we head back to Disney Springs to STK Orlando. This is the second time we've been here. STK is a nice Steakhouse within Disney Springs. We had a limited menu do to recent conditions.

That steak and lobster looked good my fav is still Le Cellier in Epcot for filet so good!

Thanks for sharing. Have you guys done Jock Lindsey's Hanger bar? Also, very well themed. Have you tried Boma, Flavors of Africa for Breakfast? Lot's of good options to dine on Disney Property. Boma for breakfast is such a great place, getting lost within the resort, especially out back where the animals are is simply fantastic. Thanks for sharing again.

You convinced us to try STK when the weather cools down and eat outside as you guys did to avoid the music. I think the truffle butter would be a great choice for a steak.

I've driven by the STK in Chicago numerous times but have never tried it. I think there are just too many other steak places I want to try first. It looks like a decent option for disney springs though. I was curious to hear about your round 2 so thanks for the review!
Totally agree about the atmosphere! Probably won’t go back.
We were there a few weeks ago... it was a huge disappointment. Out of the eight people in our party, six of the steaks were cooked incorrectly. I don't mean, a little incorrectly, I mean like someone didn't know how to cook a steak. My daughters tiny piece of filet looked like shoe leather with a piece of gristle running right through the middle of it. Oh and it was the size of a silver dollar. The service was terrible and took forever to even get refills. We ended up emailing the management about the visit and got a canned response. I just can't see spending the type of money we did there for that experience again. For our money, we will go to Winebar George every time before considering STK.
So sorry to hear that Toby! That really sucks. Like I said I think this place is at the bottom of the list for places to eat in DS. Winebar George is such a fantastic place, and often times, George is there.
@@travelwithjoshandtaylor agreed! We can mark it off the bucket list and keep trying other options. :) So far Winebar George is the one to beat for us. We do have reservations on Wednesday night for Art Smith's Homecoming. We will see how that fairs.... I have high expectations for it!
Are those the prices for just meat? Doesn't come with sides included?? I would expect veggies and a starch for those prices.
Josh looks so young! A tough decision, atmosphere verses food quality and taste. Putting up with one despite the other.

Just the steak, it was good, but much better places to go for that price.

We ate inside the first time and it was just way to loud.
I was going to take my whole extended family out here for dinner but my girlfriend and I calculated that it would cost $900+ which I just couldn’t swing :(. So we ate at the Four Seasons Orlando. Do you have plans to review any restaurants at the FS?
Search “wdw couple” and “Ravello” we have a review for breakfast and dinner.

Thank you for sharing....I really would’ve considered that one but I agree , ambiance is really a huge thing for me ...if you have an expensive dinner ,you want to sit and enjoy....I don’t think I would like a steak dinner outside when it’s hot either .... I wondered about the boathouse too...my friends have been there and recommended that one when I get to go ....when I go to Disney I like 1 splurge all out get dressed up fancy night....
If you want a good splurge. Go to Bull and Bear at Waldorf Astoria.

I ❤️ STK in Atlanta! I hope to try the Orlando location in the future. I was pleasantly surprised by their vegetarian offerings. 🌱
How was the restaurant noise? I have wanted to try the one in Atlanta but when I heard Josh say how loud Disney Springs location is, I don’t want to spend that much and end up with a headache.
Shannon Blakely it was not nearly as loud as I anticipated. Maybe go on a Sunday when they open at 5p. That’s what we did.
I think that was terribly expensive for what you got. $74 for a steak, when it didn't come with any side's I think is overpriced. I don't mind paying for good quality either so it's not the $74, its what you get for that $74. But in Australia, you'd never get a $74 steak without it coming with some vegetables and a carb (potatoes etc). It looked really good quality though. Taylors filet looked delicious! Great review!
I agree...and his steak wasn't medium rare. Looked more medium....
I totally agree. Like I said the quality was great but overall experience puts pretty low on the list of places to eat in Disney Springs.
I was thinking the same thing. If I worked it out right that 14oz steak is just short of 400g. That makes it about $185kg I know they include all the costs in it as well but WOW!.
Thanks for the video, now I don’t feel like I’m missing out, would never spend that much for a steak. You should do a review of Il Mulino, my favorite restaurant on property, it’s so under rated and so good and worth it.

I've only been to STK in LA. All the starters, sides , chicken main and drinks were great but my strip steak was BAD! tough and gristly (shoulda went safe option with a fillet) so it kinda put me off from trying another one. Your steaks looked great though!!

Seems like pretty normal pricing compared to a high end steakhouse. Although the Mac and cheese side was disappointing. Morton’s by comparison has similarly priced sides but they are twice as large and designed for two.
It’s on our list of potential dining choices since we are coming in January. Definitely wouldn’t want to eat indoors there, but January should be the perfect temperature for outdoor dining in Orlando.
We had lunch there on Saturday.. we ate off the "lunch special" menu and it was super reasonable and still great quality. Great viedo...ciao😀

Love garlic in my Mac n cheese, otherwise it’s too bland for me. Looks delicious. Also if I’m going to spend a lot of money for a steak, which I don’t mind. I want a nice quiet restaurant, we have one and The Whole back window overlooks the river and it’s very quiet. Lol. I typed this before I heard you speak about the atmosphere, I see we agree.

I have to agree with Josh on this one, the Mac and cheese was too expensive. I’d definitely eat here though, but definitely outside. I think if I’m going to pay that much money, I’d want it to be some sort of romantic date night or night out with friends socializing.

I'm totally an old person here, but when you spend that much money for good food, I don't want to yell over the music/noise at my dinner-mates. The meals looked amazing, but the atmosphere might throw me off, also.

Super expensive. Food is great, but lacking a great atmosphere. Definitely better options. Le Cellier or Yachtsman are great alternatives.
Bloody Hell. If my maths is right (probably isn't. HOPE IT ISN'T), that steak works out to be $185 kg. I can see my son and I will be eating a lot of fruit and veggies when we are over there. :)

I have been to this same STK twice, and I still don’t like the steaks, you can get a more marbled steak at your local butcher shop... But if you want a nice date night with the wife this will impress.

The noise and loudness really makes me want to leave places like that....I know I'm not their target audience. But i do have a decent credit rating. Make up your mind STK...be a nightclub or a steakhouse.

Sounds great food wise but I've heard it way too loud music wise and I prefer mood music and not a dj booth.
Yeah we said that at the beginning of the video. Last time we ate inside and it was way to loud with the DJ.
Also since the c word started when I go back July 15th I will go to Jaleo since he and Art Smith are being great to their employees and Chef Andres is doing so much for people...gotta pay it forward

I, personally, enjoy dinning reviews that show you actually taking a bit of the food and describing it in the moment rather than showing a picture and saying your thoughts afterward.

That place is crazy overpriced. I think at the portion size and the price point and not a lot of people are interested in this video.
