I was in the crowd for this and I had no clue they were gonna be performing so I was pretty stoked to see them
They honestly seem like they didnt know they were gonna play either. That's all backline equipment. And theyre in hella street clothes. & they arent very tight. Billie seems tipsy & cant hit those high notes LOL i love this song & band tho so its awesome to see them like this as opposed to the usual done up & super tight outfit they often are.

Yeah but it kinda reminds me of the early days when they just came out they weren’t very tight then either, I tried to go to Woodstock in 94 to see them and Metallica unfortunately I didn’t make it there which sucks, now THAT is the Green Day I remember 3 guys who didn’t give a shit, not the polished makeup wearing guys we see today, not that there’s anything wrong with that they’re still badass but they’re just not as hungry as they were back in 93-94

In my opinion it's 1994-2009, 2012 was in my opinion their worst year due to iHeartRadio incident, Billie going to Rehab, and Trilogy Flopping. 2013-present time is their comeback period.

It all comes down to how they are routing all the audio, sometimes there's just a feed of FOH, which is whatever sounds best in that room, sometimes the source material can just sound real bad and there isn't much you can do if you are given something that is subpar already

Yes it is borrowed gear. Billie's guitar was actually a rental from guitar center, and he was told not to destroy it. So in normal Billie Joe fashion, he covered it in tape and smashed it LOL
