HDpiano hey love you guys, could you do any of these songs: •no game no life opening •final fantasy X- to zanarkland •shelter-porter Robinson If not could you listen to the piano version of them and tell me what you think.
To be honest, this is one of my favorite piano pieces I've ever heard. I just started learning it! By the way, I speak french, english and a bit of spanish. Thank you for tutorial!
Thanks for it. I took 3 days to do this first part of the music. It looks simple but it takes time and perseverance to make my left hand comfortable to do the four measures. The other difficult is to put both hands to work together in the song. I could do it VERY VERY SLOWLY, and increasing speed a little bit each time! It requires effort and concentration. Greetings from Sao Paulo, Brazil! (By the way, I do not speak French... :-))
Thanks @HDpiano after a lot and a lot and a lot of practice, the left hand is becoming easier and the right hand with your slow pacing had allowed me to learn putting it together. My drum teacher used to say, speed isn't important, what's important is that you can play slowly without mistakes. Speed comes later. You seem to preach similar styles. Thank you ... I never thought this piece was possible (for an almost novice).
My first time here. Thanks so much, I battle a bit with petite hands .. trying to manage the left hand, thanks for suggesting optional method! I speak Afrikaans (mother tongue from South Africa) and Portuguese, living in Portugal presently. Appreciate your method of teaching!
Bilingual in French and English and fluent in Spanish. Italian and German at an intermediate level. I'm from Europe and it's perfectly normal here for people to speak 3-4 languages. There is so much diversity, every country has their own story, old buildings, traditional food and music. I don't think I could ever find a better place for me to live than Europe.
First of all, thank u for all of your work. It’s really helpful. Well I can speak French, English, Portuguese, Spanish and a little German, which I learned when I was a kid. But I think music has an independent language and a more universal one ❤️
I'm french and I speak english and a bit of german (the remnants i have from school, tbh...) Gosh this song is one of my favorite, by one of my favorite musician Can't wait to go home to learn it!! Thank you so much for the video
Excellent video! Thank you so much for posting this. I am a native French speaker and I also speak English and Spanish. I would love to see a tutorial for the Lion theme” from the movie “Lion”
I learned the left hand and gave up, and after a few weeks i see this tutorial and i try it and i finally did it together less than 1 hr! Thank you for this wonderful tutorial!
That's great! Thanks for learning with us. It's funny how time-away from the piano sometimes works wonders. The brain processes things without you even knowing it. :)
I don't think that the piano is related to left hand or right is related to your brain which make you focus ,there are some people can't play piano and sing at same time because singing distract them
The very first song I taught myself was through this kind of tutorial and picked "The Amelie" song, without any real prior piano experience. Didn't have the means to watch digitally while at the piano so I wrote it all down. To my surprise I learned it within a a week or so. Coming from a beginner, it's super fun to play and not as hard as it seems in my experience. The "fast" part still needs improving to get it to flow smoothly. I never realized how popular it was!
English is my first, I now a bit of French, and have a test today, ugghhhh. But my friend who also plays piano can speak in c++. Wish this vid was around when I was learning it. Love the vids.
Honestly thought the left hand would take me forever, but I have it nailed after about 20 minutes! Putting the right hand with it though, that’s a different story😭
I speak German (I'm from Germany), English,French and a little bit ASL/PSE (ASL=American Sign Language)And I like all of them but French is really beautiful :)
"Comptine d'un autre été, synthetisa" en réalité c'est pas un tuto mais la chanson complète vu du dessus (comme sur la vidéo du coup mais sans pauses) donc oui c'est compliqué mais ça m'a pris que deux jours, environ 5 heures x)
I speak portuguese, because I'm from Brazil. But I can speak english and spanish too and I'm trying to learn french and german. I love languages so much!
Hey. You asked this 4 years ago but still... if you are interested. I am Iranian and I speak Farsi. I know English as we and thanks for inspiring and amazing tutorials.
Hi...I speak Arabic,English and French . Thank you for your nice way in teaching you have been so helpful. Could you please teach us how to play (My way) and (Que sera sera) Thank you and best regards...
stretching my left hand this far: hurt learning left hand: surprisingly easy adding left hand + right hand: I literally almost gave up, my hands don't work together like that...
I am able to play the RH by itself in full speed and the LH by it self (Or with the full cords). But i just cant put them together.. I have the same issue with alot of other songs.. Is there a way to practice this? Any tips? Edit: This also makes me less motivated since it gets so much harder and eventually i just give up :/
stragethegamer ! I also had the same issue, but Dan is right, if you play both hands realllyyy slowly at first and you gradually increase the speed, it will work. I also had a hard time with this one, its because there is a difference of tempo between LH and RH ( I think) Don't give up, it is an amazing piece, would be a shame!
I can speak French and English well, can sort of speak Zulu and Afrikaans ( Afrikaans is similar to dutch BTW, in fact it is the old form of dutch ) and understand a little bit of Spanish
The 'easier' way you considered for the left had, was about 10x harder. It took a few minutes to get it to normal paste, for the normal way, but I got it.
HDpiano I want to learn to play the piano but I have no idea if it's better to play keyboard or the piano at first and if it makes a big difference with the sound. Can you help me?
I have a question? I was looking forward to refreshing my mind in skyfall and when I looked it up it wasn't there? Did youse delete it or am I just not seeing it...Ive learnt the song and I can't learn how to play from any other piano teachers! If it hasn't been deleted please could you link me to in?
We're sorry to let you know that a handful of artists and songs have been temporarily removed from our library while we undergo licensing discussions. You can watch a more thorough update on the matter here: hdpiano.com/announcement
I'm Croatian so, speaking Croatian and English only. Know bits of German and Italian :) I saw your video about basic pedaling but can you explain exactly when do you press the pedal? As I just can't get this to sound good, it just sounds flat. And if I try and use the pedal it sounds bad too :)) it would help if you could let me know do you push the pedal on each note for the LH or something else? THANKS!!!
Wouldn't hurt to try; see if it feels within reach. Or check out our Beginner playlist: ruclips.net/video/tIcYLvy6omg/видео.html&list=PLIRQ2cakmJFz75qx1s8LKSAN65FJ0utOq

Great to hear!! Your drum teacher is exactly right. "What's important is that you can play slowly without mistakes" - This is so true.
You're the best piano teacher I've ever had!
Keep going!!!👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Will do!
I've learned this song and I have to say, it is one of those pieces that is easy to learn, but hard to master!
💪🎹

learning left hand: surprisingly easy
adding left hand + right hand: I literally almost gave up, my hands don't work together like that...
Don't push through pain--that's usually a sign that you're ready for a break/stretch! Slow it way down and be patient with yourself. Good luck :)

Portuguese from Portugal can you speak? 😊 thank you for your tutorial, i understand english

HDpiano Muito obrigada☺️ 👏
I am from Croatia
neato!
after more than an hour now I manage to play the entire left hand and just the 3-5 first notes on the right hand then i mess it all up.
and now my left hand hurts as a mofo because I am no piano player. I think this hour is the most that I have played on a piano ever. Yes sure I can use my keyboard to play single keys just to see how to paint them in my DAW but I know no chords or even the letters of the keys xD
By the time I managed both hands I'd need a bigger keyboard since mine is just 25 keys which luckely is just enought to play this first part :D
(Swedish and English here)
DANG! This one is super tough on the LH, no doubt. Take it easy - 15 minute bunches, make sure to stretch out. -Dan
Hi can someone tell me if it’s possible to play Yann Tiersen’s music on a 61 keynote piano? Just because I’m looking to buy one just to begging. Thank you. I’m looking for the Roland GoKeys61. Thanks ☺️
you are my idol :,)
Aww, thank you!
I'm fluent in vietnamese, czech and english. And I'm learning germany and korean

awesome!!
I have a bone condition which causes bones not to grow so am only three feet tall and I can't reach the octave with my left hand (though I can with my right). What do you suggest to do for the left hand instead? Or does anyone have suggestions? Thank you!
You could try leaving out the higher E altogether. Instead, the thumb can take the B. So your first E minor chord would be 5-1-3-1 (E-B-G-B). Continue similarly. Of course it will sound a little different, but the overall feel should still be there!
Great!
thank you!
I’m polish, but I speak English, Italian, Spanish and German (and polish obviously)
