I'd like to ask about bringing a drone to the resort (and to the maldives, in general). did you have to apply for some permits before taking it on your flight to male? your inputs are very much appreciated. thanks.

You are only allowed to fly drone on resorts with permission from them.
Flying the drone to Male will be no problem. There’s no permits needed.

Hello, yes they are! Theres a few tables set up for Family’s. Im sure kids will enjoy it over there. 🙂

Only apon request from the resort yes.
Can we take alcohol from outside to the resort
No unfortunately not!
It’s illegal to take alcohol to Maldives you are not allowed to bring in alcohol to the country. The only place you’re allowed alcohol are in private island only and nowhere else so you wouldn’t be able to buy alcohol any other place.
My wife and I are going on honeymoon at Maldives on Next may and we offered this resort OBLU AILAFUSHI

Is this good for Honeymoon or not?
Yes it is, the island right next to it is called Lobighili. Its a adult resort only, connected to Ailafushi withh a bridge. This island would be more romantic for honeymoon.
