i have suggestion for Larry ... he should take few lessons from Hans Groenning ..it will open next level of understanding music . Not to mention it will bring more confidence in messing with keyboard ...yo 4 real !
I don't know if it's just me but Larry's facial expressions are not different at all this time, like he's just the same as usual, all of this in a great way of course! ;->
That drawbar setting -- the 16' and 8' pulled all the way out, all the others at 0 -- is the one most jazz organists use on the lower manual when they're playing bass lines (with their left hand) and comping (with the right) on that manual. Because it's the "default" setting, some organists tape those drawbars down to avoid accidentally pushing them in when reaching to make other adjustments during the heat of performance.
keyboard fam help me out here!! I notice great organ players are always walking with their left hands even when they have pedals available, whats up with that?? I assumed that using hands instead of feet would give more melodic freedom, but even when Larry and Ben start cooking hes still holding it down on the manual. Wouldnt there also be more tones available from the drawbars if he walked with his feet??
Yo just thinking about it, it's obviously them playing something else. I mean surely they would have just jammed a whole bunch of stuff whilst together or at another time perhaps.
Groovin'! I play both those instruments so I understand very well the high quality of the playing. Give the sax a touch of reverb next time. Larry needs to work on his facial expressions.:)
I don't like the way he turns his back at Ben the whole performance. So disrespectful. Other than that, some chords are weird. I prefer when he plays Monk.
Man, that Hans Groiner really can play!
Came for the Groiner, stayed for the friends
Larry's melody's, tone, spacing imagination is out of This world... Phenomenal!
The music is killing, but the first 12 seconds and last 30 seconds of the video are my favorite parts.
We need a Larry Goldings solo organ record
Hans Groiner is Back into Jazz! And swinging harder than ever!
jawoll! gut so!
Great changes by LG!
Tea for ...two great musicians!!
I’m afraid it’s not a standard - it’s completely reinvented! Absolutely great version!
I think it's one of the least reinvented compared to the series in terms of style&form, love it nonetheless.
@@tomekp95 i think this is my favourite off of the series!
Damn Hans
Eternal gratitude for such masterpiece of jazz and cool attitude ! Greetings from France !
WOW !! Please keep doing these man there so so great! Big love from Birmingham UK !!
Very nice redering. Congrats to both of you.
Loved every minute of this! Tenor sax idol!!
Smokin !! two geniuses

Yea it would certainly help with correcting the wrong notes 😅😂🤪 😉
Insanely good. 2 of the all time greats.
Fantastic. Big fan of your Duo recordings.
I didn't knew Larry of Tea for two, you had dramatically improved my life
LG looks like he's being shot in an old gangster movie
stank face
NOOOOOOO
I don't know if it's just me but Ben's tone feels different this time like it's a bit brighter and dirtier, all of this in a great way,of course.
Jorvaskrr Yeah, it feels a bit more laid back as opposed to the usual sizzle too. I can dig it.
Reminds me of Lester Young.
Sounds more old-timey.
God, this is fun!
Did you get to do anything off MB's 'Time Is Of The Essence'? Love that album. 'Half Past Late' is a favourite.
I don't know if it's just me but Larry's facial expressions are not different at all this time, like he's just the same as usual, all of this in a great way of course! ;->
Bravo!!!
This one is great! Swingin!!!!!!!
Yes Larry!!
this might be my favorite of the series.. but then again how do you pick?
This is too good. I'm not even half way through.

Love the facial expressions! These cats going for blood on this one!
Absolutely awesome!
I’m lovin’ Larry’s stank faces haha
So sick!
Love it sounds great and I can play my drums percussions with it thanks maybe one day we'll hook up😄👍
Why are you putting your right hand down when you play Bb in the melody?? is it for intonation reasons?
Ben checks his watch, although he's not wearing one. 07:12
ben, you look a lot like bob berg while playing !!!! brilliant work
Nine! Nine!
Play the 9!
i like the rugs
Amazing!!!
2:16 C/V kick in the face.
Hans would never take a nap if he has appointment
I noticed Larry has two drawbars on his hammond taped fully out. Anyone know which they are? Curious

Fantastic

Kev Smith from what I’ve seen, organists always walk with the left hand and generally hold down tonal centers for depth with the feet.
Flat nine!! Hey Monk, flat nineee
...nice! what mic is that?
amazing 🔥
Is just me or Ben Wendell sounds like a contemporary Coleman Hawkins??
Yeah
hey philippe lol
great
DOPE!
Waiting for a Hans Groiner duet now
What is the first song that Larry G is having fun listening to?
Man, it's killing me trying to work out who it is as well!
Yo just thinking about it, it's obviously them playing something else. I mean surely they would have just jammed a whole bunch of stuff whilst together or at another time perhaps.
nice
hey is that hans gruber?
i'm a guitar player, but i feel like if i tried to play sax with my top shirt buttoned up, my head would eventually explode.
I just got in the best elevator ever.
Funky combo
A W E S O M E
!!!
Who is "MarK" that Larry is talking to?
It's supposed to be Monk I think
@@lewisplayssaxophone Thanks! That makes sense.
Very irresponsible of you two to jam together, at least you didn't do it anywhere near Cern!!!
3:00
What mouthpiece does he play?
In 300 years.....
So tasty mmm
Groovin'! I play both those instruments so I understand very well the high quality of the playing. Give the sax a touch of reverb next time. Larry needs to work on his facial expressions.:)
when u gonna have chad on???
likearc hopefully never
instagram superstar
Word, so true lol
That would be hip
Why?? Chad's great!
I don't know is it just me or does the room seem different this time like darker and stinkier, all in a great way of course.
I hear a bit of Pete Christlieb in this one...
its not good version
I don't like the way he turns his back at Ben the whole performance. So disrespectful. Other than that, some chords are weird. I prefer when he plays Monk.
Yeah really messed up of Larry. Can’t believe he didn’t just become an owl and turn his head 180 degrees to maintain eye contact.
@@owengwinn3025 I understand the irony and like it! Did you get mine?
@@LaurentCoqPiano I don’t catch the irony, but a second look does reveal the sarcasm that went soaring over my head in the original comment
Anyone come here for the alexa commercial???
