Thanks Levi, I shoot 3D comps in NZ and a passionate bow hunter! Your videos just makes sense!! Big, thank you. .. followed your previous sessions regarding release and follow through. i since have got myself a pull through release and just focusing and embracing the pin float. I feel very comfortable with my grip but heck, maybe too comfortable. Be interesting to have a look at my grip closely. These sessions no matter if your extremely good already, its very useful to keep you on your toes by reviewing what you are doing in every section. To the point where if you have a flyer at least you know what went wrong with that shot. Again, a huge thank you for the quality sessions!
Levi, Your legend mate, I watch all your videos and you are the only person that actually speaks a language we can understand. You share your knowledge that has taken you to the top of the podiums. Now my groups are much tighter, much more continuous. Bow-life for me mate..
I’ve always had a high wrist in an attempt to keep myself from doing a death grip on the bow. Tried the relaxed grip with the fingers resting on the riser. Wow! I didn’t expect that much of an increase in my consistency!
Still to this day this a great video to educate new shooters. I share this video to anyone I teach. There is one more important thing to add to grip and that tip is to make sure you get your grip set before you draw back. I've seen lots of shooters change they're grip after full draw which can torque the bow
Thanks so very much for all your great videos the get a grip video help me Very much keep them videos coming you have a great day and God-bless you and your family until next .
Wow this was a punch in the face! I’ve definitely been pushing my grip hard. I’m that guy that forces it high on the grip, probably the reason for those arrows grouping left! Thank you for the info Mr Morgan!
Thank you for this video. I'm new to bows so I am having issues and the grip is one of them. This should solve my problem of what I need to add and how to properly hold it. I found the grip hurt my hand, now it could be the death grip I had on it or it could be because I have a small hand it pulls it in to tightly so grip pads may help. Best thing about learning something new is the experiments one must try until things fall into place for your specific needs.
Just watched this video and it is perfect timoing for me. Been playing with a few different positions, and have always shot high wrist. Only issue is one in a dozen or so shots torque left (right hand shooter). Need to find that repeatable position with "minimalist" contact. Thanks Levi.
Trying to adjust to thumb side of my hand like you show. 30 arrows later I was noticing a lot less pin float, though accuracy still about the same so far. Thanks for sharing. Will keep trying.
Nice video thanks. Watched your other video on target panic. Tried out the exercises and really enjoyed them. The one legged shooting wrkd best for me. I only get anxious when shooting dots don’t have it at all hunting are with 3D. I’m sure it’s a mind thing. On the grip issue I actually bought a IQ site just for that. Ac Nd it was an eye opener on how much torque you can get from a slight amount of pressure. It helped me define a repeatable grip tho. Keep the videos coming man. Love bowlife
A good way to tell if you torque the bow is to shoot thru paper once you know the bow is tuned. I use a desk calendar. Gives the 2" squares to aim at. It will show you fast if you torque the bow
I just tried the 3:20 grip only my 3 and 4 finger is slightly touching the grip on their finger nail side. It corrected me kind of 3 inches at 20 yards. Now, I am going to have to make sure it's on the thumb side of my lifeline. I thought it was supposed to go down the middle. Thanks for this. I needed the help.
Because they are stubborn 😂😂😂.. Between him and John Dudley I've learn what not and what to do when shooting .. That's on them 😆.. These the ones that miss big deer and wonder why 🤷😲😲 or shoot a low score at a 3D shoot.. Pay attention it's free !😂😂😂
I shoot a Bear and when I got the bow it came with the standard bulky grip. But you can remove it and use the panel grips underneath. Much more preferable
Levi I have a problem where I broke my forearm in the past so in my bow arm one of the bones the right one in the left forearm actually bends down in the middle a good half inch because I re broke it while skating... needless to say I put my hand on the riser in a proper position but the bow still torques to the right after shooting... the arrow will have decent placement and flight but the bow itself once fired slightly turns to the right and idk how to fix this and I wonder f it’s cause of my messed up bones in my left arm... any ideas?
Fighting this same issue. I broke both bones in my forearm long ago. I never had issues with older, thicker Matthew's grips, but I can't seem to figure out my grip on the thinner ones without string slapping my forearm.
If you grip the bow like it's a baseball bat or even a golf club every time you shoot your not going to be consistent so I would consider that to be an incorrect way to hold the bow even if you can repeat it.
I have viewed a bunch of videos on the grip. This is the best I have seen so far. Easy to understand. Thanks

Thanks Levi always ready to take some advice can't stop improving.
Thumbs up turn to two O'clock on the muscle from thumb. Priceless information. Thank you for making the time to be here. It means alot.

High quality information thats right on the mark!! Thank you!!
Thank for information. Now I understand my grip position allot better.
This man should enter a compatition. Or even hunting.he seems to know a bit about archery
It's almost like he can shoot better at 60 than most can at 20

How did I not think of tread tape 😩. Been trying to figure out a way to keep it from sliding or feeling slick. Great tip.
Great video, that grip is just like a Bowtech grip now.
Great viedo love watching ur vids
Love the Tread Tape on the back for nerve feedback in your palm...
I’m just fearful the tape will make it easier/grippy for bow torque..

Great tip on that Grip Tape!

Double black tennis wrap on my DoubleXL Hoyt 32" full draw. Nice and comfortable
This is such info.. 👍
Its great to see a real expert explain this without making up some magic formula that you must follow to win.
Repeatability is everything.
im 56 just started love this info
Really good videos dude! How are you not getting more views😮 these videos are really compact and informative.

excellent video Thanks
Levi can you recommend a bow sleeve? Or just tell me the brand you’re using. Like in the fall sheep Mathews video. Thanks John
Good action 🎯
Nice TRX 36
I shoot a Bear and when I got the bow it came with the standard bulky grip. But you can remove it and use the panel grips underneath. Much more preferable
Can you explain why you do not use a drop down rest in competition
I shoot a triax and would love engage style side plates. Any suggestions for grips on that triax?
This guy should try the new bowmar grip tape
NEW SUBSCRIBER
I have a question.. Greg Poole did a video on release torque. But when I twist my release like he did it throws my shot off. How is his not?
i have a mathews drinilen ld it has a shaped wooden handle can i get a different one far it? and i really dont like the feel of the grip
Do use a wrist sling?
Any side plate options for the Halon 32?
Hey Levi, Where I shoot has variable headwind/crosswind. What techniques do you use to stabilize your hold when you are fighting the wind?
Great videos Levi :) but there are no muscles in the hand :)
I've always felt better with barely touching my finger tips on the riser at full draw

Should have so much more subscribers this Channel is my new best 🏹✅🦌😷
It is a good idea for hot wather when hands are wet.

Im 8 years old and I have shot a doe with my compound bow and I was by myself
