Hello! I recommend searching "Poi - 3 beat weave" tutorials and find one that works for you. Poi structure and explanations help tremendously when translating weaves into nunchaku. Have fun!

I'd need some good roped nunchucks. I have traditional bamboo chucks with a steel chain and they are noisy. Quite distracting.
