Everyone on the planet calls it football except us folks in the U.S. We’re the odd ones. It was originally called soccer, though - in England, no less! It’s a fairly interesting backstory

@@annrcantu9273 He`s totally deluded about this,don`t get me wrong,I totally love his music,but he could never ever have been a successful footballer,I watched him playing at a celebrity/charity for 90 minutes in the 1970s when he was still (theoretically) young enough to be a pro footballer,and he was absolutely useless,his team mates only ever passed the ball to him if there was no-one else available lol.
