One of my favorite singer songwriters spanning many decades. I had so many of his records. He had tons of hit songs such as "Cherry, Cherry", "Kentucky Woman", "Red Red Wine", "Solitary Man", "Holly Holy", "Cracklin' Rosie", "Song Sung Blue", "Forever In Blue Jeans", "Longfellow Serenade", "Desirée", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" etc. He has sold more than 130 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time. I was privileged to see him in concert twice. He was a great showman & his live performances were memorable. Sadly he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2018.
I probably mentioned that I am a Hard Rock Metal Head but another Neil Diamond song I like a lot is PLAY ME 💕💖🤟🏼🎸 Great Reaction Merchants!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Man oh Man...Andrei Of all the male reactors on RUclips i think you really feel the music the most. Whether it's sad or happy you always react to it like no one else. It's a pleasure to watch you guys. Hope you hit 100K soon.
"So good, So good!" That is what they sing when Neil sings after he sings "good times never seen so good." This song along with "Seven Nations Army" by the White Stripes.....another stadium anthem.
The Boston Red Soxs play the song during the 7 innings stretch. When the Sox started playing again the Saturday after the Marathan Bombing. Neil showed up unannounced and took the field and sang the song to show support to Boston.
This was a great song to sing along with your friends in a car taking a road trip to anywhere, it's just the perfect "feel good" song. The best parts... "touching me, touching you" and of course the trumpet!! Bah Bah Bah!!! is always over exaggerated and yelled at the top of your lungs!!! It just brings back great memories whenever you hear it!! You just can't be sad or negative or feel down when you hear it, just impossible.
It's been an anthem for us since it came out. It touches everyone with hope and optimism about love and finding that special person. You can go to any bar or club in the U.S. and everyone from 18 to 80 will all join in on the chorus. How cool to write a song that is timeless.
Saw Neil Diamond in San Diego what a great Concert he is GOAT, so many song's and l knew them all, Everyone Sang "Sweet Caroline"! Peace 😊✌️ and Love❤ Gary your 70 year old forever Young Hippie 🕺💃 Great Reaction👍
Nice Song from 1969. My Rock Heart likes Neil Diamond's Music and of course I have a Best of Compilation by N. Diamond in my Music Library, but my biggest "weakness" among these Songwriters is "Gilbert O'Sullivan". Anyway, nice Neil Diamond Song! 👍
Yes you can sing this song Adrei it doesn’t matter if you can’t sing, I personally couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket but I would sing it with a crowd of people 😂😂
I can remember 40 years ago singing this in the bars in Milwaukee and when he says good times never felt so good, everyone chant's so good so good so good. Every time

I grew up with these amazing songs. Neil is a legend for the ages. I remember loving Song Sung Blue when I was a kid, as well as many other Neil Diamond songs. You guys are some of my favorite reactors. Thank you for sharing with us. Love from Boston Mass USA.
I think the song Coming to America by Neil Diamond is so beautiful, and in today's isolationistic culture, it stands out by welcoming ALL immigrants to America. How different we were just 40 years ago......
My children in Bradford, Ontario, Canada, used to have this song played at their high school in the morning as everyone was getting ready for their first class. They loved it!
My mom loved playing his music in the house while I was growing up. My favorites from Neil Diamond are Love on the Rocks, Hello Again, Forever in Blue Jeans, I Am...I Said, America, Cracklin' Rosie, September Morn, Sweet Caroline, and You Don't Bring Me Flowers (duet with Barbra Streisand).
A Neil Diamond songbook was one of my first guitar books, so yeah, I love him. Great singer/songwriter. The chorus is simple, easy to sing with lots of room to breath. Great group sing. ☮🧡🎶
You’re a real man like me! Because there’s a saying that says it takes a real man to cry and that’s the way I get to the songs just so beautiful that’s why I cry. I don’t cry because I’m sad or anything like that. It’s just once something a song is created so beautifully I just tears just rolled down my face as I can’t believe what it does to you or just inspires you or just remind you that there’sreal smart and genius people in the world and you guys are wonderful. I’ve been watching you for the last two years keep up the good work.
I just love watching you guys. You feel the music differently. The way it was intended. That tells me that you’ve both got old souls. The way you feel the music & how it moves you to tears it makes me so happy. You understand the music. Sending you Big Love from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. From the States. Love you guys. 💜💖♥️
When I was in the Navy, stationed in Spain in the late 1960s, my favorite radio station was Radio Caroline, a pirate station broadcast from a ship off the coast of the UK. This was their theme song.
My 2 adult daughters and I were leaving a concert of another artist and I started singing the chorus and the entire crowd join in loudly!! My girls were mortified and shocked! It’s a tradition now every time we are in any crowd. They say Nooooooo mom😉
I know you guys can't react to a movie on here but in your spare time I'd highly recommend you watch the movie The Jazz Singer with Neil Diamond starring, singing along with Sir Laurence Olivier and Lucie Arnaz... it's about a Jewish cantor played by Neil Diamond who sings in the synagogue but he has a side gig with other musicians. He really wants to be a singer and sing his own songs. It's a riveting, moving movie with a great storyline, great cast, moments of humor, seriousness, sadness and happiness. All I can say is that it's great and I think given both your sensitive hearts and loving Neil Diamond you'll love it.
You guys would love his 'Hello Again' from the movie 'The Jazz Singer' and nobody has reacted to it! Also 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers' with Barbra Streisand...
Living in Carolina we were hearing this played at sporting events long before it became such a world wide sensation. Too much actually. I like the song, but I've heard it so much I'm burnt out on it. Fortunately ND has many other songs just as good I can listen to.
My experience with this song is I was in Junior high when it came out. It was very popular. Then when I was in my 30's the song would be played at college American football games and the student section would sing along. They liked the line Toucing me, touching you. As you have said it still is one of the favorite songs to be played at sporting events.
Pardon MY reaction , "' Fucking Bravo". I've played baseball where I was privileged to watch as the crowd sang along, I've heard it throughout the country in various venues. It ALWAAYSS brings people together. I couldn't wait to see your reaction, was not disappointed!
My understanding is Sweet Caroline is Caroline Kennedy. They started singing it at Boston Red Socks games in part because the Kennedys are from there. How it became popular in European sporting events I have no idea.
I am from the Boston area where (I believe) the singing of this song at sporting events started, and it still goes on. I believe it started in 1997 when a stadium employee played the song as a tribute to a friend who had just given birth to a baby named Caroline and it has become a staple of the Fenway experience. Here is a link to a video of the fans at Fenway Park singing along during the 2018 World Series. At the beginning you can barely hear the song in the background but when the chorus comes along, the fans just come alive. ruclips.net/video/DRmL8V5y2TE/видео.htmlsi=BDKjf4LE3klwzf94
Love this song, but very disappointed you two didn’t sing along with the “bah-bah-bahs” and the “…So good, So Good, SO GOODs!” How is that even possible??! 😉🎶
I think it started when the song was played during Boston Red Sox baseball games in the US. Everyone in the stadium would sing along because everyone knows the song, and it became a thing. I don't know how it crossed the pond to be sung in the UK
The crowd singing of this at sporting events started at Fenway Park in Boston. And then it infected many other sporting venues. It brings the home crowd together better than other traditional sport venue songs like "Take me out to the ball game."
ND has some nice songs. This one was overplayed and overused in the US over the last 10 years to the point where a lot of us are tired of hearing it! Not your faults by any means and I’m sure some folks will like it. You guys are awesome!
Diamond said that he was inspired to write the song by a photo of President John F Kennedy’s daughter Caroline, who was 11 years old at the time the song was released - No clue how it became popularized in sports......
The song was inspired by and written for Caroline Kennedy John F Kennedy's daughter after his assassination the only living candidate from that side of the family
I always enjoy listening to music with you two. Thank you both for your channel. Pleeease react to Neil Diamond's "America". His best performance of this song (in my opinion) is from the movie The Jazz Singer. The very best clip of his performance is here: ruclips.net/video/wTSLRbm8L9E/видео.html I know you'll enjoy it!
As I am not able to donate in order to make a request & you will not do it, I still am going to make mention to the difference of Elvis' version ruclips.net/video/ueLVWeFdX7k/видео.html. I adored Neil & his deep, soft but strong voice & he is a staple that will just continue on & on. Elvis' version should not be over looked over, if for no other reason than to hear what he did with it.
Definitely been to see Neil in concert more times than I really wanted to see.... but..... never seen women loose clothing quicker 😂😂😂❤❤❤ so goes me 😂😂😂
🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍✨✨✨✨✔✔✔✔✔✔ my best favorite singer...

"So good, So good!" That is what they sing when Neil sings after he sings "good times never seen so good." This song along with "Seven Nations Army" by the White Stripes.....another stadium anthem.
I love how Andre expresses certain emotions during these songs. It's more poetic than I usually hear from men in America.
The Boston Red Soxs play the song during the 7 innings stretch. When the Sox started playing again the Saturday after the Marathan Bombing. Neil showed up unannounced and took the field and sang the song to show support to Boston.
The Sox play this at the end of the 8th inning
Somewhere in a bar in the United States an entire bar is singing this song in harmony right now
What a touching reaction. I saw ND in concert in Vancouver back in the early 90s. What a great show!!!
Let him sing, music is the Doctor! Makes you feel like you want to,and he wants to SING!!
Niel Diamond sang it for Caroline Kennedy for her 50th birthday.
It was Caroline’s name he heard when JFK was President that prompted him to write a song about Caroline!
I just love y'all's reactions😊
DITTO!! 😊🎉
I think its sweet that Andrei shows his emotions! We ARE human, by the way, it just means hes a caring individual! 💞🙌

What an icon Neil is a national treasure ❤
Neil had a wonderful resonance to his voice.
As an immigrant who came to the US in 1958 ive always enjoyed "Coming to America "...👍
As first generation American, I like that song too
You can pretty much go to any bar, stadium, airport, or large public event in the world and easily start a sing-along.
Tony is the man! He always has such great requests!
You need to do the live version with audience participation, then you will get it!
He had the best concerts. His shows were fantastic. Hit songs one after another for at least two hours.
Yes you can sing this song Adrei it doesn’t matter if you can’t sing, I personally couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket but I would sing it with a crowd of people 😂😂
i really love you two, great reaction.......
Diamond has had a lot of hits.

Sweet Caroline is the very deffinition of a "Feel Good Song".
🎯 Yes, it is! You can't help but be cheerful when it comes on.
My children in Bradford, Ontario, Canada, used to have this song played at their high school in the morning as everyone was getting ready for their first class. They loved it!
They should do the live version!
At Fenway
Great reaction!

When I was about 6-8 I first heard Neil, and it got me singing lol.
One of many many big hits for the legendary Singer Songwriter!❤❤❤❤
As mentioned below, Neil Diamond song catalog is so huge! “Longfellow Serenade”, “Play Me”, “Love On The Rocks”, “Solitary Man”. You two pick! 😁
When I was in the Navy, stationed in Spain in the late 1960s, my favorite radio station was Radio Caroline, a pirate station broadcast from a ship off the coast of the UK. This was their theme song.

It's a hoot when the crowd in a stadium sings along and adds some vocal parts.
Great song choice today guys. I really like the new setup keep up the great work
Rob from Colorado
This song is popular at sporting events in Canada as well.
A great song to skate to. Sweet days of my youth.
I rode many a victory pass on my show horses to this song. Cracklin’ Rosie was also a show ring favorite in the 1970s and 80s
105th ahh the 70's my teen years ..and Summer Cookouts and the beach ... thats what this reminds me of....
There is a Cat Stevens song, "If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out". Good advice!
And a good song to check out, too😊
This plays at every Boston Red Sox game
I think just because the chorus can be fun to sing loud by a group of people what helped it become poplar for fans to sing at sporting events.
Dominica, I hope you realize how lucky you are to have a man so in love with you.
I never knew Vikings could be so emotional 😂

Fun fact about Neil Diamond is that he went to High School with Barbara Streisand. Imagine those school musicals.
2 years apart
Love your channel, you are a beautiful couple!
You guys would love his 'Hello Again' from the movie 'The Jazz Singer' and nobody has reacted to it! Also 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers' with Barbra Streisand...
Solitary Man is my favorite, Sweet Caroline is mostly played at Fenway Park, in Boston.
My favorite songs of ND was Kentucky woman and Solitary Man', Niel Diamond also wrote for '' The Monkees'' and other artists as well.
Living in Carolina we were hearing this played at sporting events long before it became such a world wide sensation. Too much actually. I like the song, but I've heard it so much I'm burnt out on it. Fortunately ND has many other songs just as good I can listen to.
He has lots of great music/songs! Try Forever in Blue Jeans .. Kentucky Woman ...so many!

They sing this.after wins at Iowa State University, my alma mater.
You guys are too cute, yes ND is a one of a kind . Personally you guys need to hear the first Hot August Nite Album, a true masterpiece.✌🏻❤️🇺🇸

Love this song, but very disappointed you two didn’t sing along with the “bah-bah-bahs” and the “…So good, So Good, SO GOODs!” How is that even possible??! 😉🎶
Diamond wrote it for Caroline Kennedy who was 6 when her father was assassinated and 12 when the song was written, Big in Boston sporting events
You both look from Time to Time younger.... What is´your Secret? 💗
I read that his fathers parents immigrated from Poland
