Billy . . he was the real reason that led to their eventual breakup . . Forensics doesn't lie for those interested. Billy had that slight shit-eating grin that Paul never had, while there had never previously been any kind of animosity with John or among the group of the original 4. Contractual obligations however were pressed upon them at their weakest moment when there was already someone who had been a stand-in for Paul after he won a Paul look-a-like contest and was a good musician -- though he never created the same style of introspective music that Paul was famous for. John and Paul who had worked so well together that they shared credit for all of their songs, never again were able to do so post 1966 and they did not get on well. Billy always believed he was a better than the others, and this contributed to the break-up. The interview of Paul or Faul as George liked to call him (faux Paul -- Faul) in a crowd of people shortly after John's death is particularly interesting, as he did not know that there was not only audio, but a camera also rolling, held by someone above the crowd nearby on a stairway. "Yeah, it's a drag isn't it?" he responded without hesitation when asked about John's murder, though he claimed to be distraught when asked about it during his appearance on Letterman. However, when he leaves that interview and goes skipping through the crowd with his head high and not a care in the world -- clearly, he had no concern at all. Even if they had a severe falling out somehow, their history of accomplishing so much together would have created a heavy emotional impact on Paul at John's recent unexpected murder. The fact that he had no real concern or condolences to offer makes no sense, unless we realize this is a different individual, someone who never got along well with John or as an integral member of the group. The Italian forensics group that set out to prove the rumors false based upon photographic evidence, came to the conclusion that they were looking at two different individuals pre and post 1966 as published in the Italian Wired Magazine with forensic details.

3:46 - Wings wasn't quite "dead" yet apparently in Paul's mind...
