That's nothing for a diesel, barely run in. I would wait and see what the parts will cost before deciding, you might find a good deal on the 2020 parts or a wreaked truck that might serve as parts turns up. But no matter what it's still a good looking truck and even keeping as a 2017 you can add a few bits to update it a little.
I absolutely love the fact that you clean your vehicles before working/rebuilding them. There’s a lot of other channels that don’t know what soap is. So I thank you for that. And thanks for the entertainment!!
If you are thinking about fixing and keeping it for a while, for personal use, it's your choice... But, If you want to flip the truck and sell it, I don't think a conversion would be worth it... just fix it as original as it was. DON'T GET RID OF THE PARTS YET!
59K is nothing for a diesel. Most aren't even broken in till 100k. Don't do the conversion if your gonna sell it. You definitely will not get your ROI out of it.
Should learn how to do some Metal Work. Could try to at least salvage the hood and fender parts. Would need repainting then. but still. could start repairing stuff like hoods and fenders.
Nice one mate 👌 Do the 2020 conversion if you think you can make some 💵 when you sell it or if your gunna keep it long term... if its a quick flip do it as cheap as ...Love your work 😀
U know its pretty awesome for u to be able to rebuild such Cars and get them pretty cheap. Im dreaming about a Polo GTI but in Germany crashed Cars are directly crushed :(
2020 Conversion would just be silliness. You're a business person and I dont think the money spent on conversion would bring enough exchange/interest in views on here to justify the build. And it's a LOT more work than it seems. Just build the truck - and sell it for profit. Will be a fun build anyway. Nice find!
I had a 2016 Ram Laramie Longhorn edition eco diesel. I had so many problems with it. The DEF system was very problematic, the AC kept malfunctioning, the cab leaked lots of water through the third brake light. My truck almost spent more time in the shop than it did at home. I finally had enough and got rid of it.
Rebuilder Guy was u putting 2020 front ends on older dodge trucks a long time ago??? Fuck u I’ve been rebuilding vehicles for over 55yrs longer than u been alive u funny talking asshole!🖕🏻🖕🏻
Rebuilder Guy I hope u don’t run ur mouth to ur customers like u do ur subscribers! If so u better hope that this RUclips money holds out! Not to mention u could get ur Ass kicked up around ur shoulders! I’ve never talked Shit on ur channel & I wasn’t talking shit i was just making a statement seems to me everyone wants to be like the Goonsquad Girls! U just keep up the good work! I do like ur videos & watch them from time to time! U do very good work! & I cannot say that about a lot of body men ur age.
I am also making a statement I don’t need your bs as if someone did something it is now off limits because someone else already did that every single video someone has the same exact comment so annoying I don’t deal with customers I record vids for folks that want to see stuff I rebuild for myself YT money is a joke that is not why I’m recording so keep your snarky comments to yourself not sure why I chose your comment over the other hundred but I have had enough
You might wanna blur the previous owner name address and phone number @ 5:50
You mean Scott? No worries mate, too late.

Doing a conversion would be sick. Maybe try finding a parts truck. Probably would be cheaper. Love the channel!
A 2020 conversion would make much more sense on a 25 or a 3500. I would just rebuild it. Parts are a lot more plentiful for the classic style.
Do the Conversion, as there’s always someone out there just waiting for one to come on the market
That's a nice truck bro 👍🏽and be safe 😊
in the United States do you need a truck driver's license to be able to drive it? Here in Brazil you need a truck driver's license 😭😭😭
Nope just regular license to drive pick up trucks
Keep up to great work on the videos
Nice truck... now .....great truck later.
Super buy and that’s really low mileage for a diesel. Go ahead and do the 2020 mod. It will look great. 😀👍 Subscribed
Do what makes you the most $$. Either way it will be a great build to follow, Thxs for the content!
Pls no conversion you might as well do the bed too if you do bc in my opinion it wouldn't look right, then again I'm OCD 🤣
2020 conversion? It’s a completely different truck ! Only the 2500/3500s have the same cab and chassis....
I absolutely love the fact that you clean your vehicles before working/rebuilding them. There’s a lot of other channels that don’t know what soap is. So I thank you for that. And thanks for the entertainment!!

DON'T GET RID OF THE PARTS YET!
I want to see more of the RV, trucks have been done by every other youtuber. C'mon man, you need to keep to uniqueness.
Stay with the 2017 style!
Not only doesnt fix anything himself, he doesnt do manual labor i.e unloading back of truck. Not rebuilder guy, more like rebuilder watcher

Great program, Thankyou RB CREW.
Do the conversion, while it is disassembled, you gonna regret not doing it later on. :D
Do 2020 conversion u should!!!
When are you going to do a Golf R man? I know you want to!
Those ecodiesels are junk, rebuild it and sell it as fast as you can.
Delete the DEF. That is the problem with these Italian made diesels.
New Project
Do the 2020 conversion.
If you keep the truck standard without the conversion, it can probably go for more miles..... probably....
why the eco diesel though??? 🤮
do you still have the ram rebel
Dont do conversion the new rams are ugly
Do the conversion
Right meow.
Nice one mate 👌 Do the 2020 conversion if you think you can make some 💵 when you sell it or if your gunna keep it long term... if its a quick flip do it as cheap as ...Love your work 😀

Trucks don't have trunks they have beds. Cars have trunks lol. Couldn't resist.
Is this truck from north seattle ??
Do not spend too much on it, these diesel 3.0L engins are not reliable at that millage, my son has a 2016 and has issues with it a 62k. Good luck !
Go for it . It looks to be in good shape.
Do the 2020 conversion!
Convert while we watch.
If u do The 2020 you have to change the radiator anyway. Watch goonzquad They all ready made that convertion
No Conversion!!!
Just rebuild it
Nope don't do it.
Many thanks RG for putting the time in to produce another great video 2020 conversion would be super but only if you see it as financially viable.
Do it
do conversion
Hey talk to goonzquad about cost they did one for 3500 just an idea
was it 10k plus the additional 3k supplemental? still a great deal for what you paid
3.0l diesel..... stopped watching
You and vtuned seem to like your trucks.💸
Heck yeah! A new build, can’t wait! Love this channel and thank you for sharing your rebuilds with all of us!!!
5:52 Blurr the details!!
We got them we got them, no worries.
looking forward to watch this rebuild.
Do the 2020 front end it will look a lot better
Please don’t do the conversion
Do the conversion! What ever make it the best time!
Just keep it stock, a conversion would look tacky
can you make your videos longer?
2020 conversion for sure. Those engines go 300,000 plus. Would consider doing it on my part. They look sick. 2020 parts are also cheaper
TG Joshuaki once the EGR Cooler issue is fixed they are pretty good motors. Not many 17’s had the issue though
If you want to do it then do it!
Keep it 17 stock is always best for resale.
Do it man make yourself a beast!!!
Would love to see the conversion
Do the conversion! It would be great content!
Do the conversation
Sweet truck, 🇬🇧
Build it either way you got a good deal
Don't do it.
Do the conversion.
Nice buy again, that bill from the repair shop can help you and show what is damaged.
For sure
A nice truck can you tell me whats a 20/20 conversion as I'm from the UK I've not got a clue what that is lol thanks
This year's model was updated so looks different .
He's talking about a facelift I think
Conversion
🇺🇸🙏🏻👍 !!
Conversion please
Do the conversation please!
I was seriously thinking you were gonna try to start it with no radiotor and no cooling fan?
I was going to but the tank had a hole in it
@@RebuilderGuy You Mad Man!
420 69th!!!
Wow, I am anxious :)
JUST DO IT!!!!
First oh wait no one cares😂 can't wait for the build lol
2020 1500 has different cab and doors than the older version. So conversion won’t work.
I had a 2016 Ram Laramie Longhorn edition eco diesel. I had so many problems with it. No conversation, please.
How much was it?
Goonzquad did a conversion, I think it’s too much hustle with this used truck. Just fix it and sell. It is not so special, just an average vehicle.
Another GOONSQUAD wannabe!!!
Another stupid comment hey numbnuts I was rebuilding cars before youtube even existed so kick rocks
Rebuilder Guy was u putting 2020 front ends on older dodge trucks a long time ago??? Fuck u I’ve been rebuilding vehicles for over 55yrs longer than u been alive u funny talking asshole!🖕🏻🖕🏻
why have you been subed to my channel for over a year just to talk shit? dont like it bounce! dont need your bs around here

Wait for parts cost before your 2020 conv decision.
DO it!
sell this when you are finish and go with a different style chevy silverado or a ford f450 or a Nissan Titian cummins, or a gmc serria
Stab a Cummins in it. The only real Diesel-RAMs are Cummins powered. Not Eco-V6
Bro love your work but... why u have to go ram? Oh wait it’s because those are the only trucks that need work.
Definitely do the 2020 conversion it will look awesome
Already have seen a 2020 conversation done on another channel
Do the conversion!
Yes need to see a 2020 conversion
Don't bother doing a conversion if it doesn't make financial sense. I look forward to seeing this rebuild!
