昔奮発して買ったこちらの酒器を愛用してる。落語なんかに「ものは器で食わせる」なんて言葉が出てくるが、まさに一味違う。器にも味があるんだと思う。初めて製作のプロセスを拝見したが、今後はまた一味違った晩酌が楽しめそう。
ついこの間、こちらの製品を記念品として使用させていただきました。
（私が前々からこちらの錫器が欲しかったったので、候補に入れたら採用された）
とても喜んでもらえたので、今度は自分用に購入します！

The design and pattern are beautiful, the work is beautiful, the people are beautiful, and Japan is beautiful. But then before 1300 years what Japanese were used to drinking water? Curious to know. 🙏.
same as everyone else on the planet: wood, clay - ash fired clay or ceramics. You can also make cups from various animal parts (octopus, for example - still done as a craft in Iwate in Japan) and cups & storage vessels from various plants.

So where could one buy items like these?
Why did the piece at 5:45 need to be cast in two separate pieces instead of just all at once and avoid all of that joining and combining work?
It's wider in the middle, you won't be able to remove form parts after casting as a single piece.
@@my3bikaht88 You *can* do it with multi-part molds, but handling multi-part molds is just a pain in the arse. Easier to just do it in 2 simple parts given you'll need to machine the result anyway.

How does cold look like? :)
Perhaps you mean why isn't it boiling? In any case, tin got a low melting point, 232° C and a boiling point of 2270° C.

I was confused for a moment when they joined the two halves together. I was missing the solder. But then I remembered that tin _is_ solder. XD
Now I wonder, is it still soldering even if you don't add solder to join two parts together?
no its just welding at that point soldering is different to welding
in that the parts being joined are not melted and are usually not the same material
as the solder
This is welding, where 2 pieces of the same kind of metal are melted together and becomes one piece. Soldering is when you use a filler to join 2 pieces of metal together. Typically soldering can be reversed while welding is a permanent bond.

4:01 I do not understand how tapping two pieces together, bonds them. Please explain this.
1 piece fits inside the other as a push fit joint. they are then welded together for a permanent bond, as the video shows, and then machined down to a smooth finish to (mostly) hide the join.

Кто-нибудь может представить источники, подтверждающие существование в Китае производства жести 1300 лет назад? По моим сведениям, начало производства жести (медной) относят к 16-му веку. Это первое. Второе - посуда-то не жестяная, а оловянная. И все восторгаются японскими технологиями. А Андерсена "Стойкий оловянный солдатик" и не вспомнят. Между прочим, в средние века в Европе оловянная посуда была обычным предметом быта. Как и оловянные пуговицы. Такую посуду, как показано в этом кине, можно на кухне без проблем для окружающей среды чеканить. Еще и красивше можно. Дед я.

Одна проблема-это не жестяная посуда, а оловянная. Олово намного мягче и пластичней жести и обработка много легче, но оно и недолговечнее. Делать посуду из олова это в современном мире особенный вид мазохизма.

Чистое нет. Но следует хранить в теплом месте. При температурах ниже +10 рассыпается в порошок - это называется "оловянная чума". Стабилизируется добавками свинца или висмута. Но сплав ПОС-90 (10% свинца) считается пищевым (для холодных продуктов), а про висмут не помню. Дед я.
