I had every iPhone up to date and I half to say the white one looks nice and he is right about the near lack of smudging and scratches but I had all the black of coarse cause of the masculine factor, I have the iPhone 4 now I didn't see a point in getting the 4s yet, but good video dude

In other words, you see smudges on black easier than white because your fingerprint is a lighter colour, making it more visible on a darker background.

I bought the black iPhone 3G S because they didn't have any white ones, but I am taking my black one next week simply because the black gets extremely greasy after holding it in you hand and you can't see anything on the black one. Good Call. Both are beautiful, nod goes to white if you are a scratch/smudge nazi like myself.

the white looks funny with the back front, chrome sides, and white back, vs. all black and chrome. i have the black and like it better, just put a clear film case to prevent scratches

I got a black 3GS and I think it looks kinda better than the white one. But not by much. The white iPhone looks great too so it was not an easy choise when I bought it.

Thank you! I'm mulling over which one I should get. Right now it's between a white 16gb 3gs or a black 32gb 3gs. Seeing them side by side makes me skew toward the white and it would match my macbook.
I think they both scratch the same. It's the visiblity of the scratches that is different imo. I have the black for a more professional look for work although, I do like the white also. I wish the back was interchangeable. 5 stars.

at rogers in canada you can get the 16gb it is 199 and the 32gb for 299 and they both come in white or black

im pretty sure they wont, considering you have a serial number assigned to the iphone, which specifies what type it is.
