😅 it was hard work! I’ve had the footage for this one for a little while but have not had the time to get around to editing it. Thanks for watching though, good to see you here again 😊👍🏼
Another beauty. Views around the Needles looked fantastic, and finished with another perfect landing! So nice to chat yesterday Geoff. Really enjoyed that.👍
It was so good to hear your voice & chat about flying 😊 Thanks so much for watching… I’m hoping to reciprocate & be able to watch your videos soon too! 😉👍🏼
@@FlyingDarkLord 🤣 You're very modest! I suppose we all get caught out occasionally but you definitely don't make a habit of it. Here's to the next adventure. 👍😁
Really good practise, to help you fellow aviators out like this! Pilots should do more flights with other rated pilots. Both newer and more experienced!
I agree entirely sir! It’s good for both parties. We all learn from each other, irrespective of our respective experience 😊👍🏼 It’s also more fun to share a flight than travel alone, I’ve found 👍🏼
Another lovely film. The footage is amazing as usual. The route around the needles is one of my favourites and I've flown it about three times in the Lasham motorglider. I have an in-cockpit video of one of these on my own youtube site (just the raw footage so I can catalogue things). The water around the needles is very interesting and the colour of the water in the sunshine are stunning. The tide brings the greenish water from the solent streaming out past the blue water of the channel. They don't mix for quite some time and there is a very obvious interface. Get the timing right and you can see huge curling vortices generated as one mass of water slides past the other. My wife came on one of the trips and she took a nice photo of this swirling effect.
That’s a great comment to leave! 🥳 Thanks so much! I’m utterly delighted that you’ve found my videos entertaining 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I really appreciate that positive feedback 🎈
Do it!!!! I promise you won’t regret it! The cost of the PPL & associated aircraft is ridiculous, you’ll find the NPPL much more palatable 👍🏼 Microlight aircraft these days are so much more sophisticated & have a much better power-to-weight ratio than a Cessna or Piper. Let me know how you get on 🤞🏼
That's my fear of going back to flying. All the bloody tech! Can see myself punching it at an inopportune moment 😂 (At least with the work laptop I can just slam it shut and walk away) Thanks again for some great vids
😂😂😂 Not much has changed in aviation, but if you want tech in your Cockpit to watch ‘TopGun’ on, then it’s available!!! I’m just a technophile so love having the kit, it’s horses-for-courses, but most aircraft flying still have the conventional six-pack instruments that I suspect you know & love 😉👍🏼
Such a great video it was so well put together and that's a beautiful plane you have. You have a new subscriber here can't wait to see more of your content 🙂
I’m pleased you enjoyed it 😊👍🏼 It never fails to disappoint, but it also makes me nervous as it’s a bit of a pinch point for other aircraft also sight-seeking at the same level 😳
Another great video, another top landing 😅. Can't wait to start venturing some more and doing some flights with another plane in situ would be lovely. Have you ever flown to Perranporth? Thats on my list to work towards.
Hitting the like-button already at 1:30 :) Getting to use your skills is the way to go! (I would be terrible at aerodrome information right now since its been 4 years from last time)
@@FlyingDarkLord This thing called "work" seems to throw a spanner in the works of private aviation on far too many occasions! We've got to find a solution... Maybe winning the Euro Jackpot lottery?
😂😂😂 100% I keep playing the EuroLottery but I’ve not won yet! I’m going to write a letter of complaint! 😄 I’d love to pack my job in & just fly around making RUclips videos!!! 😄
He’s just passed his test and in fairness to him, even since filming this video, he’s developed quickly. He’s cramming in the flying every week & has accumulated over 100 hrs solo now 🥳 I think flying together did help him, he could learn from my mistakes & you always feel more confident when you fly a route with someone you know… you don’t feel so isolated 😊👍🏼 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Two videos in a weekend - what a treat!

Luvly Geoff… those landings 👌
Keep them coming 👍👏👏👏
Thank you very much 😊😊😊
Another great video. I have to say Geoff that your landings are always a joy to watch - just beautifully executed. 👍😎
That’s generous of you to say… they are not always that refined! Sometimes I feel like an uncoordinated cygnet on approach! 😄

Nice Geoff. Welcome to my cabbage patch. I usually do The Needles with my passenger friends and they never fail to love the view, as do I 😎
You live in such a beautiful part of the UK 😎

Thanks sir 😄👍🏼
What a gorgeous flight. Enjoyed every second of it. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words & taking time to leave some positive feedback, it is greatly appreciated 😊👍🏼

I think we should all pop over to your channel & check it out 🥳👍🏼
Another cracker of a video 👍, I’ve missed the last few videos , so looks like got to take an evening off to watch the rest 😁

Another fantastic video! It’s certainly inspiring me to go and get my NPPL, 15 years after abandoning my PPL lessons.

The furthest west I’ve been is Bolt Head Salcombe, but I’m desperate to try the Scilly Isles! 😊👍🏼
Thanks for watching & for your kind compliment 🙏🏻

I’ve just got to find time to do it 😅
