it's hard to pick a favorite bcs the songs are all fire but DRIP is def my fave title track from them if i'm gonna rank my fave B-sides 1. Really like you - this one heavily reminds me of old yg like maybe bcs it's produced and written by airplay and mino. it sounds like an early ikon and winner song with a little bit of 2ne1 lol 2. love in my heart - this one just feels nostalgic for some reason i really love it 3. billionaire - this is like 'like that' 2.0 lol not a bad thing tho love the rnb pop of it and they sound really good in these type of songs 4. love maybe - VOCAAAALS *chef's kiss* the whistle?! harmony?! just wow!! i feel like i'm a princess from a disney movie lmao reminds me of cinderella singing with the birds and the animals 5. clik clak - this one is not a bad song, i like it. i can say it's v addictive like once you listen to it, i can hear myself singing along. 6. woke up in tokyo - okay so a lot of people have been hating on this song since the preview release and they are so not fun hating this. this is not a bad song like i think it's their expectations that disappointed them like when yg said we're gonna have a rapline unit song i also expected smth like volkno yk just like hard rap but when i heard the preview and the full song i really like it. i enjoyed it, it's a fun song yk and it actually suits ruka and asa. they're japanese and these kind of song is actually pretty common in japanese music so i think it suits their image and them. it's a really fun song, the lyrics are fun and witty. people just love to hate 🤦♀️ also one of the composer and lyricist said on their ig story after preview release "while everyone's expecting we go west, we taking it to the far far east 🇯🇵 this is hip-hop" and i agree bcs this is literally a j-pop song all songs are really different from each other so it's really hard to like rank them but this album def is a BOP. no skip for me!!
love your explaination about woke up in tokyo, it's the same thing that jas and andy said about the song. if you don't know about jpop music you won't appreciate it. the fact that ruka and asa was also involved in making the song, they definitely know why the genre is this way. but yeah i also agree with everyone that maybe in the future album they both will doing another subunit song and it is a hard rap track that everyone wanted and expected for the both of them.
My favorites are Really like you, Love Maybe and Love in my heart. Can’t pick just one song coz they are so so good. And overall it’s a no skip album. They did it so well
According to the tracklist, and I could be mistaken, all the song titles that are in all caps were supposed to get an MV and Billionaire is in all caps on the track list. Those songs are Clik Clak, Drip, Billionaire, and Forever. But at the last minute, YG announced that "Love in My Heart (not in all caps) was going to have an MV. I don't know if that means in lieu of Billionaire or in addition to Billionaire. Hopefully Billionaire will get an MV also.
