Major blow for Marsabit governor Ukur Yattani

Marsabit governor Ukur Yattani has been dealt a blow for the second time in less than a month after the county assembly refused to debate the names of nine people he nominated for appointment to the county policing authority.
Marsabit county assembly speaker Matthew Loltome ruled the house will not debate the motion as it will be against House rules.
