I felt the same way! I’ve been researching new planners , listening to podcast about planners and was leaning towards a particular planner, but then… here comes Laurel Denise and everything else went out the window! I’m ordering really soon.
This might be the planner for me, what I need and want....I am a "sticky note" luva..it is my #1 office tool/item. I always have stickies in my pocket with notes and to-do's. LOOOOVVVEEEE IT. gREAT Video. We need more 🤩

So, for what I'm looking for in a planner: Coil- Prefer a regular coil like an EC, but I can deal with Wire-O and can even be open to discs. The important thing, for me, is that the planner needs to be able to fold over on itself so I can put it on my planner stand. Therefore, I don't look at book-bound/soft bound planners or rings. Cover- I stepped away from EC because I needed something without interchangeable covers. I like the idea of changing my cover (and I have an INSANE amount of covers), but I need to work on my follow-through, so I went with something with a permanent cover this year. I also want a pretty cover (I like colors) and something sturdy enough to withstand being thrown into a bag. (So, EC covers are sturdy enough for me there, but I'm not a huge fan of the flimsy Plum Paper covers) Customization: I'm all for pre-ordering customization. I like companies that let you pick your layout, personalize your cover, tweak the colors- all while the planner is still in production. Afterwards, however, the ability to add and move things ends up being too much for me. I overthink it, I get overwhelmed, and I'm such a perfectionist that if things don't flow just right when I rearrange pages, it drives me crazy. (One of the reasons I generally avoid discs). I DO like a simple layout though. Too many preset categories and sections overwhelm me. Components- I don't flip back and forth in my planner, so the important thing, for me, is a solid weekly or daily layout. I keep my planner open to the current day and that's where it stays. So, things like extra note pages, monthly calendars, and dashboards typically aren't an issue for me. I don't even look at them most of the time. (I'm still figuring out what I need as far as a layout itself is concerned). And I'm not as big of a paper snob as a some people seem to be. I've been pretty happy with EC, Simplified, Makse, and Cultivate products so far. Didn't love Plum Paper's paper. Cost: I'm saving up $300 for all planner expenses- accessories, planner, goal planner, etc. Now, I'll have to find the extra money if I decide to do something like join Club Makse, but I think saving up $300 throughout the year is a generous enough budget. I typically use the cost of buying a 7x9 Daily Duo with coil customization as my baseline for price comparisons. I love the concept of this planner, but I'd rather have something a little less... wide. I don't need the monthly calendar and I could do with just an extra sidebar on 1 or both sides. I could see this concept working well as a daily planner (with a place for weekly tasks and schedules on either side of the day) OR as a goal planner. One of the reasons Makselife didn't work for me is that I need to see all of my monthly goals on one page. I love the idea of a planner that will let me see my annual/quarterly, monthly, and weekly goals all at once.
What pens/highlighters are you using? I purchased the vertical one as well - just haven’t found pens/highlighters I love yet! Yours are so vibrant and precise!
So sad that their whole website is out of stock and they are not restocking 2023 :( I would edit this video in case people get jazzed about a new planner like me and go to the website to find none are available. I love this review and I have been seeing this planner pop up on my insta a lot and was on the fence till I saw this video.
AH - I believe they are planning on doing another restock! They also had some inserts launch, so if you have a wire-o or half letter system you could try out some inserts!
I’m low key mad at you! 😂😂 kidding kidding! I thought I had planner peace, then I saw a short or something on this planner you did and the layout intrigued me. So I’ve been a woman obsessed! I researched and have been looking into this, and let’s just say… mine is coming sometime this week! 😂😂
I got it a few weeks ago… and loving it. I have large handwriting so sometimes it’s a struggle, but the smaller .05 and .038 pens help! I love love love this planner! It is what I’ve always wanted in a planner. The to-do lists being seen at all times helps me to brain dump, cross things off, add more to it!! Has really helped me a lot! So thanks for sharing this! I’m not mad anymore! 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’ve been watching her progress since her first launch- I’m soooo close to getting one myself, I probably will for 2024
omg this made my actual life.
What you have created is magical!!!

Cannot wait to get mine! Are you using anything from your initial lineup along side it or is this your only one??
I am using this and my archer and olive journal! It really changed my lineup!
At 8:27 sold me. Now, can I wait until the new year or buy yet another planner for 2023/undated? Undated! I hope all is well with you🙂
Love getting new planners! Thanks friend!
I wish someone would make a planner with the coils on the top!! 😩
Lauren, you might need to create a planner with coil on top 😊 maybe in the 8.5x11
How is it a daily planner?
