Bone fan since Day ☝🏿 Bizzy Bone's verse is: Head South, bring it in for Wally, Eazy, Cs Uncle Charlie, Little Boo, but God's got 'em...and I'm gonna miss everybody... I done rolled with blows like AIDS, look at 'em while they lay, and prayed, but destiny they too deep for me to say... Lil' Layzie came to me. Told me if he should decease well then please... bury me by my Gran Gran and when you can come follow me...
If you've seen the movie Straight Outta Compton, the story of NWA and Eric Eazy-E Wright specifically, that's also a lot of back story leading up to Bone Thugs N Harmony. Eric signed them and got them started shortly before he died. That was a video clip taken of him from other media in the scene both going up the mountain, and his face in the sky when they were saying "see you at the crossroads so you wont be lonely". They were honoring their friend and giving props to the guy that gave them the first big break that put them on the scene back in the day. Very touching.
8:02 A lot of them did... The first version they made was called "Crossroads" and it's on the album. One of their homies called Wally died when they were coming up and they did that song for him. Before the album came out, more people died... Their Producer Eazy E (the one with the sunglasses and cap near the end) and other people close to them died. This version is called "Tha Crossroads" (sometimes you'll find the words Mo Thug Remix added) and it's dedicated to all of them.
Their mentor Eazy E had died around this time and wish bones uncle Charles had passed away around that time too and this song was decicated to them. That's why you see Eazy E at the end of the vid in the sky
I know every words to the song because I've been listening to that song Days of Our Lives and every other song that's close to the heart like this one ever since I was 5 and I'm 33 now if I'm not wrong that's 28 years and your Bone Thugs is my paper group of all time because they write songs that are close to the heart
I'll never forget the first time I heard Bone Thugs. I was mostly into country music and some metal. I found a CD on the ground next to my truck with just graphics and no words on it. It was their E. 1999 album. I was absolutely floored by what I was hearing. My favorite Bone song is Notorious Thugs w/ Biggie.
More Bone Thugs…and yes this song was dedicated to thier mentor Eazy E (from NWA) who was the one that signed them. Thats who it shows at the end…the song was also dedicated to a few of thier homies and family that had passed away around the same time
This was my favorite group growing up, I remember the cassette tape & continually rewindin just to hear this song over & over..Original song was for a friend(Wally) who died, many mistakenly thought mournful ode was only for Eazy-E, but it was really for all the Ppl they lost… favorite lyrics: “All a thug could do is cry, cry Why they kill my dog & man I miss my uncle charles y'all..”😆 for the longest I thought he was sayin “I miss my Uncle Jo Jo” too… Fun Fact they were only ppl in hiphop to do a track w/ Tupac & Biggie: Notorious Thugz & Thug Luv Thuggish Ruggish Bone Ghetto Cowboy 1st of tha Month Mo Murda Seriously under appreciated in hiphop..it seems whenever u mesh East & West Coast, u get Unique or Great in hiphop…Tupac born East went west, Bone Thugz from Cleveland went to L.A. met Eazy-E, Dre became huge fixture in hiphop after comin East expanding beats & findin Eminem.. Hiphop heads talk about the rivalry between East & West Coast like they can’t come together or they’re too different but the brief list above kinda shows us if we come together greatness can happen…
Yea Bone are the GOATS…they got smooth songs like this, but they also have hard street thuggish bangers…try these East 1999 Mo Murda Thuggish Ruggish Bone Days Of Our Lives
React to the ORIGINAL CROSSROADS SONG 🔥🔥🔥🔥... This one yal reacted to is the second one.... The first one is harder to me because it was personal..... I know yal haven't heard it so it will be fresh... 💯
Bizzy is saying "And I'm gonna miss everybody" The reason why the word "Everybody" sounds like he could be saying something else is bcz of his adlib placed here... If you listen closely you can here Bizzy saying "Long Gone" at the same time as "Body" in the word "Everybody" is being said which makes the "B" in body and "L" in Long overlap one another...When you listen with this in mind it will make perfect sense.. #Bonethugs4life
I listen to this song when I think about my mom when I think about my past being born with brain cancer that's why I love the song so much because they're coming from the heart they're coming from somebody who's going through something before they weren't just all we got money so that makes everything great I don't even have to think about the bad hard money now that's why I don't like hip hop today it's wack to me
this is one of the greatest overall songs of all time. everybody who react to this dont notice E, even tho the video is pretty much about him and dedicated to him. The song was inspired by his passing too.
Bizz is saying Let's head South, let's all bring it in for Wally, Eazy, C's uncle Charlie and little boo cause God's got him and I'm going to miss everybody, I only roll with Bone my gang look to them while they lay and plays with destiny plays too deep for me to say, little Lazies came to me, told me he should decrease bury me by my grand grand when can, then follow me please
