I liked that table with the green boxes. I’ve got a green boxed Bowser trolley. Had it plated silver to resemble Atlanta’s Marta felt of train cars. One of the highlights of my NDT career is going to Narta’s spacious repair facility to do a magnet particle test.
Wow awesome video and production New Subscriber and we hit the bell, thankyou brought back lots of memories of my Dad, who drove trams in England 1940's 1950's and the Sunderland Trams the double decker buses, loved it thankyou stay safe take care Rgds KC Tasmania Australia
I'm amazed that time and time again, model makers do not run their moving trams trains and cars at a scale speed. With so much detail gone into making the models, the whole illusion is spoiled by train and tram speeds which are beyond realistic. Such a pity.
This is the most unusual departure from model trains I've ever seen. But why put up a blue sky backdrop when you're going to plaster stickers all over it? Defeats the purpose.
A really nice video showing the amazing following trams have in the UK. Do we have anything like this show or model tram clubs in the U.S. celebrating the use of new trams in cities like Phoenix or Tucson (nearby to my home)?
East Penn Traction Club, Southern California Traction Club, Central Electric Railfans' Association, and a lot more. There are a bunch of pages on Facebook for the American traction fan.
Vielen Dank.
Thank you, in UK you find the 'Tramfare'. It is the journal of the Tramway and Light Railway Society (TLRS), 6 issues the year. These magazines are for members free.

Classic. They’ve been saying since the 80’s the model train hobby will die out, because there are a lot of seniors in this hobby. There is a steady stream of new “old people”.
@@macnavi the internet won't help then especially as it damages everybody's eyesight and older people have failing eyesight anyway!! I mean how many pairs of glasses will ken patterson be wearing on his head in 5yrs time? 3 or 4??
@@macnavi moreover, one has to bear in mind a vast number of young people nowadays are exposed to screens more than ever so one has to ask will their eyesight be up for the modelling tasks later in life? I don't think so!
@@macnavi but larger scales mean building larger layouts and that means requiring larger rooms and that means buying/renting larger houses and that means increasing income which for the majority of people - no can do! next..........
I see the same old story, excellent models but completely unrealistic as no drivers, conductors or passengers. Why go to so much trouble and not complete the job?
Since a while I add figures to my models, but there are reasons for to leave tram models without these tiny persons. A reversing double ended tram would show the driver at the wrong end - not very realistic. In old models we find often bulky traction units with no space for seats or passengers. My layout at home shows only 10% of my models as runners. 90% of my trams are stored in depots or in sidings. These models filled with passengers - again, not realistic. So whatever a modeller does, it can't be perfect. Such is live...
A lot of yellow-faced civilians hanging about outside the trams too. They all look like shop mannequins. Never understood why train and tram modellers go to such detail on rolling stock and buildings but then forget to paint the humans in a way that is even remotely realistic.
I can't tell you how much I truly enjoy watching the videos of the tram festivals. Thanks for shooting and sharing.
My favorite part of the movie The Bourne Identity was when it showed the streetcars.

I'm French, these old trams were really impressive but it was before the car's revolution.
Love to find a Number 1 tram from Sunderland as thats what my Dad used to drive
