- Weirdo Goes To Two Bojangles In One Day. Today we were in Beckley, WV only to find a Bojangles that had closed down. It was one of the few that were built and open for only a couple of years before they shut most of the West Virginia locations down. To my understanding, only 1 Bojangles location is still open in WV... We got lucky by finding it just off the highway... So naturally I had to stop by.

They opened a Bojangles in Canton Ohio 4 or 5 months ago !!! Near Belden Village Mall.

This Bojangles is now a Sonic!
I live in the Beckley area they turn Bojangles in Beckley into a sonic that has both a drive Thur and sit down area and also had traditional curb area.

3:11 here in Georgia we got at least one Howard Johnson hotel with a gorgeous orange roof. I also remember that Howard Johnson was a restaurant back in the 70s. Why they made hotels I don't know.😂
Actually I do believe the motels (main competitor to Holiday Inn for quite a while) were their main business and the restaurants / ice cream parlors (my favorite flavor was Butter Pecan) were early on EVERY MOTEL as their eating place.
Later on (from the 1980's) they put additional restaurants outside of their motels, competing mostly against Basin Robbins and somewhat against Denny's.
We've had in Puerto Rico both HoJo motels AND separate restaurants / ice cream parlors in both enclosed malls and larger strip malls.

Was that second one in Princeton? If so I've ate at both of those! Makes me sad those stores didn't make it in WV, they are missing out. I've been in Selma, AL for work the last couple weeks and there is an abandoned Bojangles there too.
Yes, the open one was in Princeton! I believe it's the only open one left in WV.
@@WallieB26 I lived in Fairmont for a year and being from NC missed the heck out of Bojangles so we would make the trip down to Princeton to get Bojangles because at the time it was the closest one that I was was aware of!
I was right next to a Bojangles in durham last October, and I was this close to getting lunch from it with my folks until we decided to go to mickey d's for lunch instead and now I regret it

You should go to the abandoned Quaker Steak & Lube in Cranberry Township. Such a shame it closed. :(

First no pan pizza at Pizza Hut and closed Bojangles.. to a pork chop biscuit in the only open Bojangles in WV. The quest for the food that day ended. Lol 😄 😆 🤣 makes me want to drive 290 miles to this location. You two are so funny with the skits.

My favorite was the Bonanza Steakhouse. I grew up eating there. I was saddened when the one in Tupelo, MS two hours away closed. The nearest one is in Virginia. Also it would be cool if you could do a video from one of the vintage older Bojangles or THE original location. It would be around or in Charlotte because that's where they started

I work full time during the week. I'm off weekends. A lot of the time I do several videos in a day or weekend. Plus I've been sprinkling videos from different times on here. Video later today will be from NC while tomorrow's will be from Ohio.

I'd like to eat at a Bojangles restaurant. I love chicken myself. Why in the name of Mike would they close in 2 years?? I love the aesthetics of the Bojangles, especially the wood floors inside. I myself, I love Pizza Hut. I order Pizza Hut for delivery to my apartment. The Weirton Pizza Hut is just up the road from Walmart. I also love Pizza Hut's Ultimate Hershey's Chocolate Chip Cookie!
