      Hi , to get the timing chain out of the front cam wheel
      did you have to remove the clip around the timing cam wheel and remove the wheel or do
      You have to remove the inlet cam completely
      When our thing the cam wheels is there a special way to
      Install the front cam wheel and align the wheel ?
      Thank you

    Around what range of milage (km) these intake/exhaust valves gap need to check/adjust for 4n15 engine? Thanks

  • @masterofuploader4
    @masterofuploader4 Год назад +1

    I thought 4n15 have hydraulic valve lifters. Mind if i ask why are you adjusting it?

    • @mechenicwithfamily5722
      @mechenicwithfamily5722  Год назад +1

      This is not hydrolic valve lifter. Fully adjustable and inlet 10 and exhaust 15 . This needs adjust because if not adjust they are noisy and compression can leaking.

    Thanks for posting this. Do you see much sludge build up with 4n15 engines in the top end when the oil changes are done every 15,000km instead of every 7,500km?

    • @mechenicwithfamily5722
      @mechenicwithfamily5722  Год назад +1

      Normally i did not seen sludge build up 4n15 engine. They are very good engine. And in Australia we replace engine oil every 15000 km. But never had problems. But if you like you can change engine oil every $7500. Its should be good for your engine

      @@mechenicwithfamily5722 that’s good to hear! I’m in Australia too. I’ve got an MQ Triton with 164,000km on it, running great, so long as I take it to a mechanic who knows how to do the valve clearances properly.
      The dealer had a problem with reseating the injectors and causing leaks, then blaming the injectors and said it was leaking diesel, not combustion gas 😂

    Hi

      Its very hard. Because of front diff. I try once but take very long tine. Easy way renove engine

      @@mechenicwithfamily5722 thanx mate. I saw a video on RUclips where they had to remove bottom cross member, CV. diff, steering rack to remove the oil pan.
      your 💯 correct it’s easy removing engine abd replace gasket.
      Also another question how do you remove the timing chain from the front cam socket?
      Did you have to remove the inlet side CAM shaft to take the timing chain out?

      @@mechenicwithfamily5722 thanx mate, yes that’s what I am thinking of doing life the engine and do the gasket .
      Just another question please, In the torque settings for the head bolts in this engine the 4N15, the manual specifies torque settings as - 50nm , 90deg, 90deg (180total) then 0nm then 50nm , 90deg, 90deg , 90deg (270 total)
      So Does it mean you do 50nm , 90deg, 90deg (180total) then undo all the head bolts and do 50nm , 90deg, 90deg , 90deg (270 total) ?
      Thank you 🙏

      @@salekanayake8416
      Yes 50 and two 90 deg and zero then 50 and three 90 dig. Because I said better remove engine you can do proper job. When you resell sump and timing cover have to do hundreds present correct. If something missed resale start oil leaking soon. And this engine oil stainer can't remove with out removing oil pan. And you have to do valve adjustment too in last. Its 10 inlet and 15 exhaust.

    I thought 4n15 engines have self adjust

      I thought the same, they have hydraulic lash adjusters no adjustment necessary

      My dealership told me no worries about valve adjustment, year 2019 up models have self adjust features.
