I finally found them! The show combined two of the tracks for the scene. The beginning of this video starts around 0:46 on Track 10 "王之幽思" of the OST on Spotify. The orchestral rise, when Ruyi becomes empress, is the back half of Track 04 "人非物是" by Chen Shimei and is performed by the Asia Philharmonic Orchestra. It's not available on spotify [for me in the U.S.], but it was posted here on YT with the album cover as the thumbnail.
AmaziAmazing...how many of of fell in love w this very sad lady. Why couldn't her ending or indeed her story, have been better. And seeing the very sad and ragged coffin in which she was interred, was heartbreaking! Ruyi, we love you--always! 💕
This series did Ruyi justice - no matter what the official historical narrative said. We now come to know about this tragic empress 😭😭 May her soul rest in peace.
I wish there was more about the real Step Empress. What was the account of her life and it's end. I googled but can't seem to find pertinent information
I really wish Ruyi didn’t see Qianlong as a husband. That’s why she always tried to do right by him. She loved him like an ordinary wife loves her ordinary husband - and there lies the mistake, because they were Emperor and Empress, not just husband and wife.
I loved the connection...how they played this music during Ruyi's coronation and then later when Qianlong was in the process of dying
It’s also the music playing when Ruyi sees the emperor before being sent off to the Cold Palace !!
Just recently watched this entire series. It was beautifully done broke my heart many times. Loved it. Fantastic cast. Especially all right Rhui
Im not that emotional person but i cry when i hear this song. Masterpiece ❤

She should become the next Disney princess, along with TOMOE GOZUN, HWANG JIN YI, DONG YI, EMPRESS KI, EMPRESS MYEONGSEONG, AND YANG GUI FEI.
