Think he's a good manager and will probably do well there, but you can clearly see why Liverpool steered clear of him - he needs 11 players who play his style football, United don't have that and will now have to have major overhaul to get any sort of competitive football out of the team. The squad they have is absolute dross, not a single Utd player get in Liverpool, Arsenal or City's team He's not a 'come in and work with what they have' type manager
Where is your evidence for that exactly? He did very much that at Sporting, taking over a crap team that were so bad the fans tried to attack them. Loads of players even left the club due to this, and then Amorim came in and settled the ship, winning Sporting their first title within what, two seasons? What he’s having to do isn’t the same as what Slot is doing at Liverpool, or what Maresca is doing at Chelsea. Amorim didn’t plan to come to United in late November, ahead of the busiest month of the entire season. He hasn’t had a pre season, and in two weeks he’s had about four proper training sessions. He hasn’t got time to work out his best eleven, or where each player suits his system the best. In two weeks he’s had to reintegrate injured players like Yoro, Malacia, Maguire and Mainoo, whilst also balancing the injury merry-go-round that is Man United. I respect what Slot and Maresca are doing, and what Arteta did in his first two months, but I strongly believe that none of those managers would have exceeded what Amorim has done in his first four games.
Subbing Bruno was absolutely the right thing to do . I know this might sound a bit extreme but ( and I have been saying this since he joined Man Utd and have the receipts ) he is the cause of all United's footballing problems. I can read people's energy and for some reason Bruno's presence has had a devastating influence on the first team squad and on the people who work in and around these players. I could go into more detail but that's all that is required to know about what's been happening and what's now needed to happen. I think Amorin sees what I see. I should stress Bruno is not a bad person.
Amorim should have come to Manchester City or Liverpool. The problem with Manchester United isn't the coaches main problems are due to the things that happen within the club. How the club is run, the owners and more. The club hasn't sold some players from the old regime Rashford, McGuire, Bruno Frenandes and more players that don't belong at the club. You have to remember that Amorim hasn't got the luxury of spending 6-10 weeks where he can give them the training that they need, like Maresca has had. He has a game every 3 days in which he has to try and get the players to play a new system. Where he has to try and get his players fit. Apart from Onana, Bruno has played virtually every min up to his substitution against forest. Ten Hag and Ole used to play him for every min of every game. He needed resting. I get that he's probably the best player on the pitch at the weekend, but he still needs resting at some point. Anyway, it highlights another issue that needed highlighting. Without Bruno, there isn't enough creativity! So as a united fan, I'm not worried at this stage. Amorim needs to know who can do what. Then the club can evaluate what is needed to fill the holes.
Asa Utd fan, more worried about the players than the board. Keep in mind, this board has basically been in charge since the summer. They’ve made mistakes but compared to the Glazers, at least they’re trying things.
your focus on bruno being most likely to create a chance for example, is just not confronting the reality who is most likely to led to us facing hella shots on our goal, the answer is bruno my guy
Man United are an average club that has had two absolutely genius managers in Busby in Ferguson that have won like 90% of their trophies through sheer brilliance & will. Compare that to Liverpool, Arsenal, & Chelsea who have each had half a dozen or more successful managers. They've never been set up for prolonged success behind the scenes like their rivals. Hence why they keep rolling the dice on managers because they've got no idea what to do if they don't have that figurehead to drag them through. Problem is, managers at that level will only come along once every 30 years or so. So, it's hardly surprising they have these extended droughts in between their successes.
i dont disagree with you Rory but it was obvious that Bruno was spent. Amorims mistake was thinking Mount could do the same an push the team fwd. Mount kept running toward his narkers instead of into space.
Thanks Rory for noticing dalot he is our worst player and has been for months how he consistently starts I have no idea he can’t attack or defend to a decent level
These days everything is about making money and extracting as much money as possible out of fans. Football is not a product. It’s worth a lot of money as working class people have built the clubs up to what they are today. Rat cliff will never get that.
Not amorim or previous mangers fault. Glazers still here and some of these players can't be trusted. Onana been terrible and Bruno had to be subbed off. He wasn't playing well
All the mancs who used to joke that Man Utd ruined childhoods are now seeing their own childrens' childhoods ruined by MUFC and isn't it great to see. Life has a way of coming around to bite you on the ass. Relax Jennings, MUFC is just another club with no right to anything. You may not see that now but you will eventually. The world keeps turning and people move on. It's actually awkward seeing United try so hard to remain relevant.
The price increase is to pad the revenue and allow for more transfers. They pay crazy wages and are full of mercenaries. Club is ruined and out of Europe for 3 years and needs a 5 year strategic plan. YNWA
Rory you can moan about our owners but we could have ended up with Ratcliffe. It was poor at first but since Eghbali has taken over from Bohley we’ve gone from strength to strength with only a small increase in season ticket prices
Ratcliffe never had the capital to be taken seriously for the Chelsea purchase. He was bounced out of the sale immediately. But remember he's as a local Manchester lad isn't he...and a Monaco tax exile.
Why do you feel sorry for him? He knew what he was coming to!! I refuse to feel sorry for anyone knowingly walking into something that is public knowledge. 😂

Asa Utd fan, more worried about the players than the board. Keep in mind, this board has basically been in charge since the summer. They’ve made mistakes but compared to the Glazers, at least they’re trying things.
Rory talking about united more than him own club. United brings you clicks
That’s cause Chalsea r crusing and united r always losing 😂. Always drama to talk about lol
used to be Arsenal
I don’t blame him! I’d love to get paid for talking about man uniteds demise! Fair play to him👍
I like this Rory. Mentioning the supporters associations is exactly why you know your stuff. NW6
Amorim will run back to sporting
your focus on bruno being most likely to create a chance for example, is just not confronting the reality who is most likely to led to us facing hella shots on our goal, the answer is bruno my guy
He's charging them that because he (probably correctly) thinks fans will pay it.
As a forest fan I was over the moon that Fernandez went off. But I do rate Dalot. He’s usually scores against forest.
Ineos haven’t been successful in any or their football clubs, what did people expect?
Strangers on the pich, misdirecting passes; strangers in the pitch misplacing passes
Man Utd don’t even come into my thoughts any more, bored of them 💯🤣🤣
Well spoken, like a true fan, 👏
The £77 walkout on 77’ at LFC was under FSG, not their previous ownership :)
i dont disagree with you Rory but it was obvious that Bruno was spent. Amorims mistake was thinking Mount could do the same an push the team fwd. Mount kept running toward his narkers instead of into space.
Personally i love Manchester Uniteds downfall
Thanks Rory for noticing dalot he is our worst player and has been for months how he consistently starts I have no idea he can’t attack or defend to a decent level
Rory that was under FSG, I hate Hicks and Gillett but they were hounded out 6 years before the £77 fiasco.
Won't stop untill rashford and brono gone . Keep them as I support? Want to keep winding 😂😂😂
Rory you’re not wrong on many points. However, you’re definitely a United fan at heart!
United actually played some very fluid football at times yesterday. Terrible goals to concede but alot of positives
The thumbnail is wild as hell
"Snakes on a toddler" Samuel L Jackson is up for it....
3-4-3 just won’t work in the premier league. Their midfield will be run through every week
Why not use Garnacho in wing-back as Amad??
Garnacho is trash anywhere
Garnacho cant protect the ball well his technique isnt the best and you want him wing back 😢
So Ashworth wanted Southgate...I guess keeping him on would be bit awkward
These days everything is about making money and extracting as much money as possible out of fans. Football is not a product. It’s worth a lot of money as working class people have built the clubs up to what they are today. Rat cliff will never get that.
Not amorim or previous mangers fault. Glazers still here and some of these players can't be trusted. Onana been terrible and Bruno had to be subbed off. He wasn't playing well
"What the hell am I getting myself into here?"
- Amorim, probably.
The Glazers have pulled a blander washing their hands of any responsibility but still sucking money from the club
The price increase is to pad the revenue and allow for more transfers. They pay crazy wages and are full of mercenaries. Club is ruined and out of Europe for 3 years and needs a 5 year strategic plan. YNWA
Its not greed though, its waste.
Well said Rory. Well said
Super coach? from a farmers league
I swear this wasn’t the headline to this episode 20mins ago.. 😂
The past seasons United have drawn or have had low scoring goals wins. It's the attacking players they don't work.
Look at his arrogance now that Chelsea are 2nd because of a truck full of players
Why do you feel sorry for him? He knew what he was coming to!! I refuse to feel sorry for anyone knowingly walking into something that is public knowledge. 😂
FROM: Semi Life-Long LPOOL / EPL Fan CS in the US;
Man U have some Repairs to do; New Manager is sorting out
Who Belongs; The Question Marks on RASHFORD seemed to
have stalled w/ a "Clean Slate", via New Coach, but if
the Reports are Accurate, there's No Rightful Fit for him in
Amorim's Attack, and he may be Sold. If I were the Manager
/ Director, I'd ship Fernandez to "Spice-Up" a Package Deal,
to acquire Back and Front-line players, keep the Youth, and within'
the Plan, grab a Striker; like a WERTZ or BONIFACE from Leverkusen
a GIDDENS from Dortmund, and/ or stay Local and look @
a MITOMA, Jao Pedro, Duran Off the Villa Bench, a DELAP
BOWEN, one of Bournemouth's Mid / Forwards and in doing
so get Value, versus the Sky-High Price Tag to Sign and
pull ISAK away from Newcastle; And, like Chelsea and
Liverpool invest & make moves w/ The Academy player pool
Harry Maguire to the rescue for big headers from defense.
10:28
Bruno needs to stop wasting energy gegenpressing the refs.
Rory uploaded it when Ashworth left yanited
Great timing
U can’t stay at the top forever this is what Man U are finding out now
Been shit now longer than they were good for. Only people who think united are still relevant and a top club are people clueless enough to believe what bs Neville spouts.
so glad liverpool missed out on him.
If bruno doesnt get subbed it shows player power, just like rashford who arent bigger then the club!!
Does he know glazer isn’t one person and that 2 of them are still there now?
It wouldn't surprise me if Amorim eventually quits
Yeah, until they win 2 or 3 games in row and they’ll be ‘back’, once again. Rinse and repeat.
United are done
Amorim is a bum
I don't know why but I prefer the Glazers to INEOS.
When Man U reappointed Ten Hag, he was like, "You wanna sack me, then when you can't get a better manager, you call me back in. "Imma gonna take you're 200m's and create a mess. Lol 😅 Ten Hag thook the money and brought in a lode of shit. Then, lost a bag of games then after he was like. "Now you can sack me, and the new manager can work with all the shit I just brought. Lol Amorin be stepping in shit every training session its peak for them. 😅 Amorin be smoking on a poison chalice round there. Poison Chalice fc. It is going to take them years to rebuild. Amorin ain't getting no Pee's to buy any players in January after Ten Hag burnt-out. I feel sorry for Amorin because, in my honest opinion, he is a quality manager, but he doesn't have the players to get the results his style of play deserves. Once he gets rid of the ghost of Ten Hag and gets his own team together, he will become successful in PL.
Was getting pretty bored of united been shit after 15 years but they do like to just switch it and freshen up to give everyone a good laugh again.
The hand your dealt is united.....
*Flips the card table over and runs out screaming*
It was FSG that put the price up
You could appoint Pep Guardiola for all I care and the players would let him down too. Mediocre team. Mediocre results.
Stop chatting shit. Ineos were absolutely right to back ten hag. The decision to sack him showed their disrespect. Mazroui, de ligt, yoro, martinez, onana, hojlund, mount, eriksen are all ten hag signings and they are by far the most technical players in the pl. The squad ten hag left amorim has no excuses compared to the shit ten hag inherited.
But Rory what did Chelsea expect when they hired Mourinho?? Win them trophies didn't they? And even Fergie didnt win the league in his his fiest few years. It was a near fluke but deserved one, that Rafa win LFC the CL in his first year. In his three odd seasons ETH win two trophies n one 2nd place finish in the PL. What did Radcliffe expect ETH to do, get the moon or something??
Hahaha Rory talking crap but United has been destroyed, so I watch along laughing.
