- Hey guys did some DVD and Blu-ray Hunting at my local Goodwill thrift store and I also checked out my local Habitat for Humanity Restore and came across a ton of DVDs. Hi! I know I’m a bit late to the party, but I love thrifting for DVDs! My greatest and most favorite find was the limited edition dvd box set of the original 3 Star Wars movies! It has the original theatrical releases of the movies on the bonus discs! It’s now one of my most prized possessions!

I knew Ben Hur, and with your comment i had to Google the movie for fun, it only won 11 oscars, and its also in American Film Institute lists top 100 best American films of all time. Its from Long before i was born, but its ok to see film before you are born. Think its considers a classic in your Home country. Sincerly Brian

Alpha Dog Is A Fantastic Underrated Movie Highly Recommend It,It's One Of My All Time Favorite Movies Plus It's Got A Great Cast As Well
Stand and deliver is such a great movie, watched it alot growing up. 3 bucks for all those movies, not a bad deal. Awesome hunt dude.

Stand And Deliver is a great movie,classic 80's biopic,Good Morning Vietnam is one of my all time favorites.and A.I. Aritificial Intelligence is a great movie.

2nd ave is a thrift store near me and near where my mom lives as well. It has most dvds for 2 bucks each.

se7en is one of the best movies ever made! definitely should get it.

"The Accountant" is a very solid movie, I'm not really a Ben Affleck fan but he impressed me in this one..
"Alpha Dog" is also a solid movie.. based on a true story about a kidnapping, you never trully know whats gonna happen at the end till it happens.. Justin Timberlake, Ben Foster and Anton Yelchin all had great performances.. was directed by Nick Cassavetes who filmed The Notebook..
I saw "Secondhand Lions" was on the shelf, another great family adventure film, highly recommend if havent seen.. the bond between a fatherless boy (the 6th Sense Boy) and his two out of this world, over the hill Uncles played by Robert Duvall and Micheal Caine..
"Behind the Mask" is kind of horror cult classic now.. an aspiring serial killer who is inspirsd by 80s slashers allows himself to be documented by a journalist and her crew.. at first they feel it's all fake, fun and a waste of time until the verbal sh#t hits the fan.. a solid indy
As you said, "Blow" is a very good film as well.. a tragic ending that didn't have to happen that way..
Thank you so much for sharing all of this, I am very excited to see The Accountant, I'ver heard good things. Alpha Dogs and Behind the Mask sound pretty good as well. I will definitely give those a watch at some point. I agree Second Hand Lions is a great family movie. Blows ending was tragic, such an interesting story though
