Glad it was helpful Sam! Have fun with the Stream Deck…. When I bought mine I thought I was buying it for controlling the software I use to make my videos… I was blown away when I realised all of the other productivity uses it has. If there’s anything you need help with or a video about, then let me know…. I take video requests! 😂
One of the things I'm thinking about is how many applications I use and how the keyboard shortcut is a different combination to do the same thing in two different applications, or the shortcut to do one thing helpful in one application is helpful and does what you want it to do and you use the same shortcut in a different program and you do something you didn't want to do. Can this help with that? If so, how does it help?
You're welcome! I'm glad they are helpful... I've got more Stream Deck videos to come too. Feel free to reach out if there is anything specific that you'd like covered in future videos. 🙏😊
Maybe this is the $100k question, but. How do you get the look you have on your RUclips videos? I do Keynote lessons on RUclips recording on my macmini. I use lie video in Keynote. But haven’t been able to get myself on left in a frame and Keynote on t right. Is that in Keynote or an OBS/eCamm thing? Need a lot of help!
Maybe you can help me. I want to to make "stream deck" perform in the right app: If it is in "word" and I press a function in "powerpoint" I want it to change to powerpoint BEFORE doing the command. How do I do that?
Sliced bread? Heard of coffee? Penicillin?... The internt? :) But yeah, looks pretty good. Bread alone does nt a meal make, but you can do so much with it, so I guess you're right!
When I saw your comment I figured you must have completely miss-interpreted something I'd said... I made this video 2 years ago and certainly could not remember the content fully. So I watched it back... and I heard it, just like you. My words do seem to imply that I am saying that open source apps are not made by real developers. I can say categorically that this is not my belief at all! I make all of my videos in one take with no script and no edits, so sometimes I will miss-speak and other times I express my thoughts in a less than elegant way! In my statement, rather than intended to be a negative about Open Source developers anywhere, I was more speaking in a positive way about the development team of Ecamm who are just two brothers who are extremely open and accessible to the Ecamm community and they are also very responsive to new ideas and feature requests. This is one of the things I have loved about Ecamm, and it is not to say that other developers are not the same. Sometimes this accessibility is lacking in other companies however and if I were to script and edit that video again, I'd say that when using Ecamm you feel like you have a connection with the 'REAL PEOPLE' who have developed it. Again, it is not my view in any way shape or form that open source applications are not made by real developers. I sincerely apologise to the developer community for that implication in the off the cuff phrasing I used in my video. 🙏❤️😊
I just purchased a stream deck. Your video really answered questions. I’m following you now.

Stream deck is the best thing since sliced bread 😍😆😆
As you may have guessed.... I love my stream deck!! My only worry is that one day it breaks.... I'd be lost without it now! 😂
@@TakeOneTech haha right

Did you seriously refer to open source as not made by real developers? The level of ignorance in that statement is stunning. Utter failure.

@@TakeOneTech Never underestimate the power of a script. I head the same thing as @DrPestilence
