- We start with the train coming into Osseo for some Operations, pause for updates to the layout over the past 4-5 weeks, followed by the crew spotting a pickle car at the Reid-Murdoch Pickle Salting station, and pulling 3 outbound boxcars before heading back to the yards.

Hey Paul! Were the pickle cars used mainly for short hauls?
Not sure in general. I don’t think they were limited but probably stayed regional. The ones in Mondovi went to Chicago for processing, probably a few hundred miles.
Did you add the grass in your ditches while the GAC 500 was still wet?
Actually, I had the grass in place already before I had heard about GAC 500. So I squeezed it out around the cat tails. But it tends to make the clear glue look white. Next time I’ll put the grass in last.
Where do you get the backdrops of the roads?
My backdrops are from Trackside Scenery. The road portions are also from them.
