Hegels are good amps. You guys actually sold me on the brand. At the time I decided to get a H190 a few years ago but decided to treat myself a little and bought the (new back then) H390. Solid purchase and you guys were excellent ambassadors to the brand. I’ve moved onto to other things only because I’m a bit repulsive like that. (The sickness) but just from all positive reviews and popularity of how Hegel plays nice with so many speakers speaks to the hard work that Anders/Bent and company have put forth to producing a solid product. I hope the #Hegel guys read this cause they owe you guys lunch!!
FYI - You made a comment that you can change the default minimum volume (and in fact you can set a max volume). That is correct, BUT you will not be able to do it with the RC10 remote that goes with the Hegel H95. You will need the RC8 metal remote to perform this adjustment... Great video
I was infact thinking of the same pairing. The H95 doesn’t put out that much power(60W @8ohms) but would it be capable enough to drive the Lumina 5’s which are 4ohms stable ?
Hello Audio Excellence. You guys are top notch. You gave a very good overview of the receiver. One very nice feature of the unit is that it auto-shutoffs after 15min of no activity. Some may not like or want this behavior, but i absolutely do because I tend to listen to music for a period and then want to know it will go in standby if i just leave the room. Beleive it or not, I decided to purchase an H95 after watching AE videos. The H95 bought it without even auditioning one. It replaced a Yamaha 75W AVR and OMG there is no comparison for two channel listening. I also liked that the H95 never got hot or warm to the touch. I would have purchased from AE if I lived in Canada. Good luck and keep up the high quality videos!

Im quickly becoming a fan of Hegel ... and even quicker falling into depression because I'll never afford them.. hahah.
Outside of the brand their are other brands that are just as capable of doing the same thing as well at an affordable price point.

Compare the Hegel H390 to the Macintosh MC 7200 or 8900 integrated.
