We found the adapter on Amazon! Everybody thank Dave from the comments he found what looks to be a brand new listing for the AVA adapter which is what Adam’s uses and works on Fanttik. amzn.to/48MCK0D
This gives options and possibilities. I have to admit, didn't expect the results. Those proprietary connections always seem not worth it but good to know there's adapters out there for them.
The adapters are catching up as the demand to use these with the tool you want is a increasing. We are at the beginning of a big shift in equipment coming to car washing this is only the beginning.
@@CarsWithKeav Thanks for the reply Keav! Do you have the new EGO 2100 compact pressure washer on pre-order? Looks like a more compact version of the other ego pressure washer and it only uses one battery instead of two.
I was looking forward to this one and you didn’t disappoint. U added a foam cannon to it so awesome! Great video! I never thought this could do what u showed!! ❤ portable foam!
I converted my Ryobi 600psi EZClean to 1/4" quick connect but could never get great foam out of it tried it with both a cheap cannon and a MJCC and either would perform. tried 1.1, 1.0, 0.9 and 0.8 orifices, but it struggled for flow. TBH the foam cannon that came with it performed as good as any of the others i tried. Interested to see how this performs so much better.
I got the same results with hacking the Ez Clean was kind of disappointed that was the main reason I bought the .8 and .9 and you’re right the one that comes with it works best. I might still make the video though, but what I thought would be awesome didn’t work out. 🤣
They are a pretty good quality value in the marketplace. Not the best quality or the worst just good enough and if you get during a sale worth the money.
Great video! I’ll wait for a Black Friday sale! With the fittings I should be able to hook this to my detailing cart as I don’t have access to water in the winter. This will be great to rinse the pre foam before I do my rinseless wash.
Thanks I’ll be on the lookout! Distilled water is cheap enough to get a spot free rinse! I wanted to do an Ego Pressure Washer but the price with a batteries is a little pricey for only winter use.
17:56 When you added the water hose (vs pulling from the 5 gallon drum), got another 50 psi and said that it was pushing more water through... would that have been a good time to test the gallons per minute again? (I honestly don't know but am curious.)
That would depend if I had a water source to knock off a lot of debris. If I’m in my garage that already has a wash setup then I’m using my Fanttik NB8 Nano. If I’m traveling with no access to a wash setup then I’m using this.
It is and it isn’t. Ryobi is meant and designed to spray chemicals and this one is meant for just water, but I think rinseless will work fine. No matter you do the Ryobi won’t produce decent foam or this kind of pressure. I figured out how to hack it and no foam cannon foams with it no matter the orifice used.
On the fence with this one. They make some really good products. I have a few but I like the EGO battery 🔋 operated power washer I have the blower and four battery packs. I think some of the small battery operated power washer guns that you can use a bucket of water or hookup the hose. For living in an apartment complex they are decent.Great review video with a lot of information 👊🏼💎Appreciate it
If you can stretch your budget go for the EGO it's way more powerful but more expensive but that has removable batteries so you can obviously have extra batteries and keep going the draw back with this is once the batteries are dead you've got a 2hr? Recharge time ifvthe us still sells this check out the RYOBI RY40PW01DG9 1,500 and the DeWalt DCMPW1600N both fantastic battery operated pressure washer but without a integrated water tank
Those are all great and for sure there will be a recharge time, but at $800 and a second set of batteries to swap out you in the $1200 range for a battery pressure washer. Don’t get me wrong it’s amazing, but I would gravitate to the Ryobi for the value. This would for sure be for those small jobs and not for say a detailer doing multiple cars.
Looks like an interesting product. I'm considering this for washing my car during winter time since I live where is freezes and snows a lot so using an outdoor spigot isn't possible and I don't have an interior garage spigot either. Would you recommend this product or something like an Ego Pressure washer to winter use? Obviously the Ego is $$$ but seems like a good product as well.
EGO is amazing just depends if you want to spend the money or not. It can pull from a bucket so you are good there and it will do easily any pressure you want. This one will work as well or you can go even cheaper with like an Ryobi Ez clean.
Really to just add a stubby gun it’s tough to get that adapter and it will be from Aliexpress which the items change all the time there. It’s best to just use the AVA adapter you can get from Amazon to convert to 3/8 quick disconnect that will allow you to use most all hoses which then would be easier to add a stubby gun. amzn.to/4jjxMNp
@ Thank you, Keav! I’ll look into those. I’ll probably get a new hose too since the OEM one is only 20ft. Though a packing it away won’t be as nice but oh well I’d rather use a stubby so it’s the price I have to pay
@@CarsWithKeav So I just want to make sure I’m doing this correctly lol I bought the adapter and a new stubby gun. Now all I need is a hose with a 3/8th quick connect?
Do I need to use distilled water in this pressure washer or can I use tap water? I bought this device and I have a question, do the connectors you have on the table and what you showed fit this pressure washer?
@@KoLuX57 They all do I show them being connected in the video. Anything on the table was bought or came with the device to be used in some capacity whether to upgrade or use normally.
@@CarsWithKeav So I can safely buy these connectors and they will fit this pressure washer because I have hoses and accessories from a traditional electric washer which I cannot use at the moment.
My nozzles I test with I go to Northern tool to buy. I make sure I get the ones stamped made in the USA. They are always the most accurate I have tested.
It be cool if they sold the standalone water reservoir for this. If case Keav drops it 😂 or mobile or winter time can be ready to wash quickly without stopping to fill if ur doing something requiring more than 4 gallons. Have you used this during a whole car wash? Is 4 gallons enough? I’m not sure I think it would be enough to do a pre foaming and rinse prior to a rinseless wash… 🤔 wish Amazon would restock this.
Not enough for the amount of water I use, but if just doing a pre soak using a battery foamer then rinsing and finishing up with a Rinsless contact wash it might be close. I’ve measure before and a conservative rinse for me is 5 gallons.
My scale weighs in pounds after I tare out the weight of the bucket. So the only weight I see is the pounds of water and I just divide that by 8.34 or I use a conversion calculator if I feel lazy.
All these tests to get some "RAD Foam" 😂 Nice ugrade on this portable unit. Still looks like very flimsy especially if you are a heavy-handed guy Thanks for sharing Greg
Yeah, not going to get heavy handed quality in this price range unfortunately. You got to spend $800 on an EGO using a 5 gallon bucket. It’s RAD foam, but it didn’t reverse drip. At least now I went through all the trouble and you can pick the right adapter without wasting money.
Unfortunately it’s fixed. I don’t understand why they don’t use a removable battery. The Makita battery platform is open source so that’s already readily available.
@@CarsWithKeav May have to look into hacking a battery box onto this so I can swap out batteries if/when needed. Otherwise this is perfect for my needs. Hmmm....
I need something like that as i live between an apartment (i have an underground garage) and a house where i can wash normally, but for the underground garage it would be cool. But again Fanntik if your reading come to EU, i mean cmon 😅 I'm thinking on something like the Karcher OC3 Plus the bigger one, i just need it for rinsless and to wash my wheels (rinse them off actually as i always need agitation for them - damn BMW wheels i love them).
