I wish it had shown where the actual point of failure was. It's obvious it wasn't the guitar as a new guitar had the same problem. So was it the amp, one of his pedals, or...most likely, in my experience, it was a bad cable/lead?
Bass is so underrated as an instrument. If you’ve ever heard a band play a song without bass guitar it sounds so flat and terrible. Bass makes the song come to life.
But if the bass stops and the guitar works the mix has no life. Also more of the heavyNess live is bass because this if the bass is less the mix starts to lose the low end. Guitars cover the Mids.

This incident is very inspirational for aspiring concert performers in many ways, but the three I really took note to was... -Always be sure you are prepared in case something goes wrong. -The bass is called the foundation to a song for a reason. -It doesn't matter if it isn't breathing, punish it for defying authority.
Daron’s guitar failing is perhaps unintentionally the best moment in all of music. The drop with the crowd jumping was just fucking amazing and Shavo really came through with that bass. Serj on the mic was the icing on the cake. 🔥
and this is one of the several reasons why some of us consider SOAD one of the best bands ever, because of this attitude on stage. Only true artists can turn such an ugly and embarrassing moment into one that is truly funny and artistic in its own way. First time i saw it i even thought it was staged. Fuck! how i miss the old SOAD!
