Hola Raf. I had been wanting one of these arcade1up machines for a long time. Watching your arcade playlist 100% inspired me to go for it. On the day of my birthday I placed the order for it. Along with all the parts I was going to need. I did some things differently though (running it with Batocera on a pretty powerful mini PC set to auto power on, added an official Arcade1up plastic coin door which I got off eBay, installed a power switch on the back panel which is where the power cord is plugged into; the switch is wired to a powerstrip inside of the arcade, also have a USB extender cable running from the mini PC for easy access when/if ever I want to upload a rom with my USB drive). It was a proud moment once it was all done. Thank you for the inspiration. I don’t think I would’ve pulled the trigger had I not been inspired by your videos.
Now that’s a dream machine! You did a great job, Raf. The only thing I’m disappointed in was your MK II demonstration. Mileena wasn’t too happy about you disturbing her and had to teach Scorpion a lesson, lol. Well done on the arcade. Your smile says it all.
Thanks Retro! This was an unexpected passion project! Yeah the sound really takes the games to the next level! Have a great day man and thank's for your awesome work! I would love to show them on my live streams! 🤗👍🏽
Wow smart man! All them extra games on it as well, plus all the LED lights and mods looks amazing, that mk2 cabinet is deff worth 3k! Sold haha.. I just picked up a 2nd hand MK2 cab for $650 AU but it's expensive and hard to get parts to mod in Oz, can't even get the light up marquree off eBay which sux but hopefully somethings come up soon, MK2 is the best!
@therafcave I actually bought the deluxe I now know. Do you think the emulation, sound system, lit buttons, possibly joysticks(althought ive seen that the deluxe comes with sanwa joysticks you upgraded to other than 4 spring and 8 gate) and 20 in monitor upgrades used here would work on the deluxe? I can't seem to find much info on modding the deluxe vs legacy and before, but also most people say not much changed. Thanks for help I enjoy your vast array of geek knowledge
Yooooo! U already know brother - I had the same smile on my face as you watching this video! Fantastic job!🤩🤗👍 And yo just when I didn't think you could blow my mind with anything more 2 this mod u hit me with the high school mk artwork!💯🔥🤩 🤗
😃😃😄😄 nice job on the mod OMG came out great but wow :O didnt know the legacy was so short 😮 look at that thing u gota put a riser on top a riser to bring it to the right hight arcade1up what where they thinking 😁 there crazzy
Hey Raf. I’m picking up my MK2 arcade1up today that has pandora DX HD that has over 3000 games. Would it be hard to install the emulator that you’re using?
@@TheRafcave oh ok. What are those things you use to lift your machine? you also use them on your tv stand sometimes. My arcade 1up came with the riser but its still too short
I don't get it. Why buy the Arcade1Up to modify it so much, to a point you're better off creating an arcade cabinet from scratch. Wouldn't that be cheaper? Seems like you paid 199 for just some wood and decals, as you changed everything else.
@@TheRafcave Oh ok. So you just wanted to change a few pieces, but then you couldn't stop adjusting? Well, it's a good way to one day create your own arcade-cabinet from scratch.
Congrats! You put a lot of work in there! Wow!
Thanks! 🤗

You gotta add a lightgun to that puppy. You have me wanting your exact setup with this....and I didn't really want one of these before lol.
😄👍🏽 I hear there's a LED sensor mod add on for a light gun.
Sega Master System has a Hulk Game RAF. 2D Side-Scroller. Had that on Sega-Mega Drive. ;)

I think that Pandora has the emulators on it already.

my google said "sorry i cannot help with that"
those joystick look real nice. can you share link?
Diyretroarcade . com
wow finished early?

I mean, it is overkill to use such a powerfull pc with just six buttons on an arcade
@ghostbaleada Maybe one day I'll put a little box Inside my arcade. My PC Is all I got.
I don't get it.

Modding to this degree of the base arcade 1up was never the plan from the beginning. It just happened. 🤷🏽♂️
