SAKS: South Fork Middle Tule 2024 (long cut)

River: South Fork Middle Tule
Flow: ~150cfs at Coffee Camp (approx 75cfs for SFMT)
Paddlers: Abel Kiser, Gavin Rieser (GoPro, edit)
With a baby on the way, I was keen to get in one last day of paddling. Flows looked to be good but I was only able to rally Abel from the Bay Area up north. We both boogied from opposite ends of the state and met up the evening before. That night, it got cold and drizzled, which continued through the morning. Flows dropped, but it still looked good from the road so we set up shuttle - then promptly got kicked out of our put-in spot by construction workers threatening the possibility of construction debris being dumped and blocking the car in. Luckily, I was able to hitch a ride fairly easily and we had just enough time to get the run done and for Abel to make his international flight back in the bay (because yes he had an international flight to Australia that evening). Excellent day overall!

The bottom half of low water undercuts had me quinging but the top half looked awesome.
