Just installed ours - was as easy as the video suggests! Great vid mate, mate the process much easier for us! Didn't even have to look at the manual - one thing i'll note, where you popoff the panel around the cluster by pulling it, i had to pull it bloody hard! I suggest putting a towell over the steering wheel panel so you don't scratch it when pulling things out

Hey mate, great video. Just a quick question which you did touch on. In regards to the speedo is there a function to correct/adjust the speed depending on rim/tyre size. I’m guessing the speedo is just reading from the vehicle settings rather than a gps speed.
Hey mate na there isn't! Not sure if there is something in the original cluster or not but ours is definately nearly spot on! We do have bigger tyres though!
Very useful instructions. Thank you for the video. Quick question though: if I’m installing back the stock speedometer, do I need to sync it back? The reason I want to install the stock one is because Robotor does not have the settings to change the option where you clock the remote control once or twice to unlock only 1 door or all doors together from the first click.

We don’t have the Patrol anymore. I had one issue right at the end with it not turning on but had a solid 3 years with it. Would still highly recommended

Nissan treat Australian drivers like second class citizens. The dash layout of the patrol is over a decade old. Overseas models have the modern layout and looks a lot better. Also the overseas units have Apple and Android. Nissan claims that Australia is a small market so it is to expensive to make the changes. Thing is 76 countries and territories have right hand drive as standard. Those 76 places equate to 30% of the world's population. So I really don't have any faith in the reasons from Nissan.
Watch out Folks. I have bought a Y Dashboard from Carobotor (Order # 16680) and received a faulty product. I had contacted Carobotor via emails and left messages on the web site but they decide to ignore my complains. what I found is that their statement "The company always adheres to the tenet of "quality first, customer first, high-quality service, and abiding by the contract" is fake and miss leading.
@@sahrawix That doesn't surprise me at all mate. Thats why I strongly stand behind Australians buying from The Australian dealer as he offers Australian warranty and support. Canada doesn't have a good wrap for after service as I have seen so far. We haven't had an issue with ours and I am sorry you ran into troubles. I hope they sort it for you mate! Cheers!

Nissan treat Australian drivers like second class citizens. The dash layout of the patrol is over a decade old. Overseas models have the modern layout and looks a lot better. Also the overseas units have Apple and Android. Nissan claims that Australia is a small market so it is to expensive to make the changes. Thing is 76 countries and territories have right hand drive as standard. Those 76 places equate to 30% of the world's population. So I really don't have any faith in the reasons from Nissan.

Watch out Folks. I have bought a Y Dashboard from Carobotor (Order # 16680) and received a faulty product. I had contacted Carobotor via emails and left messages on the web site but they decide to ignore my complains. what I found is that their statement "The company always adheres to the tenet of "quality first, customer first, high-quality service, and abiding by the contract" is fake and miss leading.
Where did you buy it from and what country you from mate?

@@sahrawix That doesn't surprise me at all mate. Thats why I strongly stand behind Australians buying from The Australian dealer as he offers Australian warranty and support. Canada doesn't have a good wrap for after service as I have seen so far. We haven't had an issue with ours and I am sorry you ran into troubles. I hope they sort it for you mate! Cheers!

I could not Imagine that the main source is not keen to have a strong stand in the market (though his product appears to be VG). my apprehensions about them that they are either not properly organized or they are under staffed technically.
