Hey Henrique, thank you for the great question. I am honest with you, I had to try it myself first and it seems that it is not working outside of the host element, unfortunately. But i found a workaround that might also help you. It is possible to offset the "Area" reinforcement from it's host element. 1. Create an "Area" reinforcement ("Structure" Tab) 2. Select the Structural Area Reinforcement family that you created and type in the offset value (with minus - !!!) that you want in the parameter "Additonal Exterior Cover Offset" Let me know if that helps Laurin

Hey Henrique,
thank you for the great question. I am honest with you, I had to try it myself first and it seems that it is not working outside of the host element, unfortunately. But i found a workaround that might also help you.
It is possible to offset the "Area" reinforcement from it's host element.
1. Create an "Area" reinforcement ("Structure" Tab)
2. Select the Structural Area Reinforcement family that you created and type in the offset value (with minus - !!!) that you want in the parameter "Additonal Exterior Cover Offset"
Let me know if that helps
