it is the guy that edited the video that put a pic of essentials on there, the guy in the video meant to literally get your essentials not the brand itself
For a couple thousand bucks you can get a Bespoke suit to your specifications and have then unique to exactly what you want down to minor little subtle details and have materials that will feel good on you and are less likely to wear or tear.
i am now transitioning to that mind of mentality when it comes to clothing. currently im broke so i just wear my dad's shoes, which most of them are from cole haan. the rest is from uniqlo but i tailor my uniqlo pants
Alright, but they can’t complain when they have no money AND have nothing good to wear. Don’t blame the fact that you can’t pay rent this month on Gucci 😂
My dress pants were hemmed and tapered for $38. The hem was $18 and the taper was $20. I also had a full suit tailored for $60. Anyone that’s charging more than $100 for a simple alteration is scamming you
I took a quick look at this channel's content and it seems kinda fucked, like trying to ascribe different value levels to men based on society's values rather than personal self-worth. That said, this is excellent advice. Clothes that fit will always make you look better than clothes that don't and if you have extra money to spend on clothes, that is absolutely where I would put it.
You are telling the truth. I mean, spend your money to something that will last and give money to someone who deserves it
Heavy emphasis on that last part
Yes, poor people flex on the brand but the folks that are in the know, know that fit is King.
I love my carharrt shirts lol, they’re clean, simple, durable and comfortable.
Spend if on whatever that makes you happy.
Dumbest cope respond
Loud brands make no one happy
@@maxalaintwo3578 if it does for somepeople
I like some designer brands just cause they know how to make good clothes
Oh yeah. Like who? You can tailor all your stuff to fit you perfectly. You're basically buying pre-tailored clothes at a premium. Just saying dork.
Holy shit, I taught myself this when I was in undergrad and poor. Lower end clothes have a terrible fit. I can make a side hustle just being a tailor
Yes this is 100% true. I love how real men real style says it, "Fit is Emperor"
Facts but you did not call essentials good clothing lol NPC’s wear that shit
I can tell you spend 12 hours of your day playing video games if you still call ppl npcs

Even better advice would be “learn to tailor your clothes yourself”. Once you do, you will never look back!!!
Great idea but most people won't do that....

@blkgostnone4092 Thats great..
I do it all the time I totally agree
is there a such thing as a tailored gucci or versace shirt
Well said bro...
essentials has 100 dollar plain ass goofy hoodies that just have the word "essentials" on them. not much better
He meant like essential clothing like black grey hoodie, nice fitting white and black tee, pair of jeans etc. not the literal essential clothing brand
This is correct
Get a jump the gun suit there bloody brilliant
The best Ive heard in a long time.. and its true.
Thanks for the reminder
or maybe just let people buy what they want to, its their money at the end of the day 😂
True but this is why their asses stay broke wearing cheap shit.

Right
The only thing worth tailoring is business/formal attire and pants. Don’t go around tailoring every little thing, way too much money.
$30 on tailoring? You live in the 90s?

I hate these guru channels on here.
💯
The simple way he said go take $1000 shows me he has no understanding that the average human doesn’t make $1000 in a week. A lot not even 2 weeks
I don't have 50 dollars
You said truth
Essentials is cringe
Well said. Enjoy
